"welcome to hell."

"you sinning bastard"

"as if you thought you would make it in the world"

"you are a joke in the eye of reality"

why cant i run? why cant i get away? i try to escape the grasps of the man with a wicked grin. his grip gets tighter and tighter on my shoulders as he holds a mirror in front of my face. he points out every feature, every fault, every thing worth changing.

and you call yourself human, a creature more like it!

he throws me to the ground and laughs as he exits the dark, cold room. my hands feel wet with a familiar substance. i look to the ground to see that i am laying in blood. i try to stand, but my knees fall weak. why cant i run? why cant i get away? i cry to the empty room.

~~

"EMILY!" i hear. startled, i open my eyes to see Jenny hovering over me. "Emily! are you alright? you're covered in blood and you were screaming..." she says, holding a cold towel to my cuts as i hiss in pain. "ba-bad dr-ream" i manage to get out before bursting into tears in her lap. she begins to rub my back. "Emily, im not letting you miss the concert, its ten now and i already packed your bag, i just got to get you cleaned up and fed before we can go" she says lifting me up and wiping away my tears.

"now, can you manage a shower while i go get us some food?" she asks helping me off the floor. "im pretty sure i can, just lead me to the bathroom" i say, still a bit shaken from that dream... was is a dream? did i go to hell and was sent back for being just that repulsive? before i know any better, hot water is splashing onto my face, filling the bathroom with a warm mist in the air that made your muscles relax.

"Honey! im home!" i hear Jenny yell from the kitchen while plopping down the breakfast on the counter. "i'll be right there!" i yell, stepping into the cold air and into my warm clothes. i tie up soaked hair and run to the kitchen, im starving!

two more hours pass and we are finally on the road. nothing but excitement filled my heart as we got closer and closer to Atlanta. "are we there yeeeeeet?" i would sing ever five minuetes in anticipation of the concert.

"Here! listen to this! you nutball!" she says, plugging in her ipod and choosing a song. the song 'The Great Hendowski" begins to play on her ipod. "AHHHHHH!" i scream as i begin to sing all of the words in perfect harmony. " you never fail to freak out to this song do you?" Jenny says, now singing along too and turning up the radio. "never" i say smiling before headbanging to the riffs of the perfect guitars.
