i sit in the car, my heard swarming with thoughts and new questions.

its just a coincidence Emily, hes just another boy at a restaurant. just another soul walking this earth, just another person who you crossed paths with who you will soon mess up as well.

the rest of the drive was silent for the most part. Jenny would try to make conversation but failed as i would just mumble words to myself as i thought more and more about the seemingly mysterious boy i met.

why are you even thinking twice about this boy? like he gives a flying fuck about you. hes just another person.

for some reason he seemed special to me, like he had some kind of connection to me.

"we're here!" Jenny sang as she turned off the engin and hopped out of the car.

i needed this.

i ran out of the car and pulled Jenny behind me, panting in the cold winter air as we reached the ticket booth. Jenny paid the lady at the desk and handed me a ticket.

this is it

"Hey!" i hear as i spin around to see him again.

"um.. hi Tyler..." i hold my breath trying not to say too much.

"i cant tell you really love this band... so.... uh... here..." he says.

he long skinny arm outstretched to me held an envelope.

"i was going to use them, but i figured you wanted them more... just see me as a person who really cares" he hands me the envelope and walks away, not turning around to let me give him the envelope back. i open the flap and out falls two backstage passes.

its as if hes my gardian angel.
