"Y/n, can I ask you a question?"

There was no going back after saying the next few words and Kamitani knew that, but he was a bit scared as to what she was going to say next.

"Go ahead." she said, laying her head on his shoulder as her heart started to beat so fast she was scared that he could feel it.

"Can we go on a date?"

And that was what the two were doing right now, they were going on a date to play baseball. It was Kamitani's idea, he always knew how much Y/n wanted to join in his practices even though she didn't know how to play.

So they were walking to the schools baseball field, Y/n was holding the bat while Kamitani had his bag in his hands, setting it down on the bench as Y/n ran to the field, swinging the bat as if she was hitting a ball.

'She's so cute.' he thought, smiling to himself before getting his mitts and baseball cap. "Are you right handed or left handed?" he asked her as she held up the hand she uses the most. "Wear the mitt on your non-dominant hand." he said to her.

She then took the mitt from his hand, placing it on her non-dominant hand. "Wait— you're making me catch the ball first?! I wanted to swing the bat!" she started to complain as he chuckled.

"And if you break the school window?" he joked, watching her glare at him before weakly throwing the ball at him, making him laugh even harder at her. "That was a fail but who cares!" she said, trying to act like she wasn't embarrassed as he walked towards her, taking the mitt off from her hand and handing her the bat.

"Just hold the bat like you were doing earlier but better." he said to her, earning a glare from Y/n as she positioned herself, holding the bat as if she were about to make a home run. Kamitani found her just cute at how hard she was trying, he took his baseball cap and placed it on her while she felt her her face heat up.

"You know, to get in uniform, you should lend me your shirt too." she joked, referring to his baseball jersey as he pointed to his bag. "Wait you actually have it?!" she said as he nodded, she then walked over to him while he got the shirt out from his bag and handed it to her. It was clean obviously, she looked back at him then to the jersey before getting flustered.

"You can wear it—" she quickly put on the jersey, rushing back to the baseball field and getting in position as she waited for him to throw the ball. He shook his head at her, walking towards the center of the field, giving her a thumbs up if she was ready, she then nodded, watching his every move to make sure she wouldn't miss the ball.

He then took the ball and threw it as fast as he could and she stood still, wondering where the ball went before she felt hit something hit her feet, her eyes averting towards the ground, seeing the baseball come to a stop. "Hayato?! You weren't even generous with that throw!" she said to him, her hand reaching down to get the ball before throwing it back to him.

"Again!" she said to him. In his view, she was far away from him so she looked like a minion getting angry which made him loose track because it seemed so funny to him. He threw the ball again, this time a bit softer as she swung, almost hitting the ball. "Again!"

She had said "again" for about 20 times already, his arm was starting to get sore but he was used to the feeling, and plus, he didn't mind staying until the next morning because he was with her. Then for the last time, he threw the ball towards her, hearing the bat hit the ball as her jaw dropped.

"I hit it!" she excitedly said, raising her hands in the air. "You're supposed to run!" he said to her as she froze before running towards him. "Wait..not to me!" he then felt himself being tackled down to the ground, her face was on the crook of his neck, her chin on his shoulder.

"We should go on another date Hayato."
