'Okay..yesterday it says I might be love sick..'

Yesterday night, Kamitani was up almost all night, trying to figure out why he was feeling that way, only for the result to come out as "love sick."

'I'm definitely not love sick, I don't even love her. I just like her.' He loves to lie, not really but right now he's lying and he doesn't know just yet.

"Kamitani the ball!"

'Yep, I don't love her. Just like her.' Kamitani nodded to himself before he felt a tap on his shoulder, snapping him out of his thoughts as he turned over to see his coach looking right at him.

"Huh?"

"This is the first time you've been spacing out Kamitani." his coach said as he slightly froze. "Sorry, it won't happen again—" he started to say until he saw a glimpse of her walking out the school building. 'Why did she have to come out now..?!'

He sighed, watching her wave to him as he waved back, glancing over to his teammates who were saying hi to her, feeling jealousy wash over him as he saw them talk with her.

"Kamitani! You left your gloves." she said, walking to him as he looked down to his hands, seeing that he actually didn't have his gloves on. "Where were they?" he asked her, taking them from her hands and putting them on.

"In the club room. Taka was playing with it and said it was yours, luckily you haven't really started yet." she said, looking at him as he nodded. "Okay, I will see you later! Bye!"

'She's leaving..I thought she was going to watch like she usually did..' he had a slight frown on his face, surprising his teammates.

She was quickly walking down the hall to the club room, her face heating up as she opened the door, seeing all the kids there. "Did you ask him?" Kirin said, holding fake flowers in her hands.

"No! I got too scared!" Y/n said, entering the room as Usaida laughed at her. "Just ask him. Here, pretend Kashima is Kamitani." Usaida said, holding Kashima by his shoulders and moving him in front of Y/n.

"This is easy! It's not him!" Y/n said, looking at Kashima before she started to feel embarrassed. "You know what..I actually have to go to the bathroom." Y/n said, trying to slip away but the kids held her legs.

"No! You either do this or we tell him!"

"No! I will but let me take my time okay?" the kids sighed, agreeing with her as they let her go. "Fine.." they all mumbled as she happily sat down. "We have an hour left until his practice is done right?" Kashima said as Y/n nodded.

"You should..I don't know but try to make a move!" he tried to come up with something for Y/n to do but his mind was just blank. "I'll try, but first..I'm going to take a nap if you don't mind.." she said, taking a pillow and laying her head down as Kashima gave her a blanket.

Kirin then walked over to her and laid herself next to Y/n, making her smile. "Wait! I want to sleep too!" Taka said, running over to her as the rest were soon laying down next to Y/n and quickly falling asleep.

"Y/n." she felt something poke her cheek, opening her eyes to see Kamitani in front of her while Taka was poking her cheek. "It's time to go!" Taka said, his tiny hands reaching over to hers as he tried to pull her up.

She then stood up, thanking Taka as she grabbed her things before speeding past Kamitani while Taka laughed. "Y/n! Are we going to make brownies today?" Taka asked, following after her as she looked down to him.

"Yes! I have everything at home! Just tell your mom first okay?" Y/n said and smiling afterwards as she held Taka's hand. "Okay!" Taka happily spoke, walking with Y/n as Kamitani was walking behind them.

'Maybe I should just ask her out..I know she likes me but..i'm scared.'
