"They've been closer than usual..do you think they got together?!"

Kashima said as he pulled Inomata to the side, she had no clue what was going on, only trying to figure where the boy was looking at. "Who got together? Wait! I shouldn't even be hiding behind the corner like this, Kashima, what are you doing?!" she asked him, crossing her arms.

"Uh well lately Kamitani and Y/n have been closer, I think it started a few weeks ago. They've been talking more and more so I just thought something was going on between them!" Kashima said, turning to her as she sighed.

"Well do that on your own time, you have to get to class!" Inomata said, Kashima sighed, watching the girl walk away before he caught a glimpse of Kamitani's fingers reaching towards Y/n's.

'Are they dating?!'

The odd behavior of the two stuck throughout the whole day, when Y/n came into the club room, Kashima noticed her smile. He wanted to ask her but what if it was just a misunderstanding..?

He asked either way.

"Psst..Y/n!" he called out for her, getting the kids attention as she turned her head towards him. "Psst..Kashima! Is there something you need?" she asked him, walking towards him as he took her arm and dragged her towards the corner where unfortunately, Koutaro was.

The poor little boy was sitting down behind the two, attempting to read his picture book while Kashima was whispering something to her as he heard.

"Are you and Kamitani dating?" he asked her, watching her eyes go wide as she became flustered. "Well, you can't just ask something like that out of no where— we are!" she tried to hide it but she was just too excited.

Kashima's jaw dropped, an accidental scream leaving past his lips as she glared at him. "Don't tell anyone though!" she said, crossing her arms. "We're going to tell everyone tomorrow, okay? We've actually been dating for a few days—"

"I knew it!"

"Huh?! What do you mean you knew?!" the kids were staring at the two teenagers, Usaida chuckling to himself as he already knew what the two were talking about because he had accidentally spotted Kamitani and Y/n on their date, figuring the two were just more than friends after that point.

"Well..the way you two were acting with each other lately, and you were talking with him more than usual..he also seems uh "calmer" if that makes sense." Kashima said, making Y/n laugh. "Calmer? Like he doesn't have that bored face?"

"Yeah!"

"It's the Y/n effect." she chuckled as he shook his head, turning around and seeing Koutaro tell something to the rest of the kids. Usaida was listening very, very intently to Koutaro's words, understanding every single thing he said before looking at Kashima and Y/n.

Just at the moment, the door had opened, revealing Kamitani in his school uniform, by the time, he had already just finished practice. 'Oh! What great timing!' Usaida thought, smiling to himself.

"Taka, come on." Kamitani said as the little boy shook his head. "Is it true?!" Taka asked his older brother, making Kamitani confused. "Is what true? You're an annoying little brother? Then yeah." he joked, though his face was plain, seeming like he meant it.

"Are you and Y/n daaaatinggg? And i'm not annoying!" Taka crossed his arms, looking hard at his older brother as he watched Kamitani freeze. Y/n looked over to Kashima who held his hands up, defending himself before he realized that his own little brother had snitched.

"Koutaro!" Kashima suddenly said, Koutaro looking at him with an innocent face. "So are you?" Taka faked a pout, attempting to convince his brother to say it was as he looked over to Y/n who acting like nothing was happening.

She then glanced at her boyfriend, nodding her head as she gave him the approval to say. "Yeah, now let's go before that old hag yells at us for being late." Kamitani said, watching Y/n get her things as she was coming with them as Taka's jaw dropped.

"Stop calling your mom an old hag, she's very pretty for her age!" Y/n said to Kamitani as she took Taka's hand before waving everyone else goodbye. "Of course you would say that.." Kamitani sighed.

"What do you mean?! She is!"

"I'm telling mommy you guys are dating!"

"Wait?! Taka, don't run!"
