Selena ~ I grab Paige and we run out of the house getting in the car, i call the number that was provided. I make sure the phone audio is not connected to the car and i listen to it as it rings....
phone call~
??? - Hello Sel- I was told to call this number? ???-Oh yes you glad to see you have called, but unfortunately you...hmm opps 1 minute and 8 seconds past the time we gave you. Sel- WHAT that's not fair i called you and you let the phone ring for that long. ???- Well looks like your gonna have to choose, pic a number? Sel- ...W- for what? ???-Do you want to take care of her for the rest of your life...shes gonna grow up with no parents Sel- Fine what are my number options? ???- well as there are only two parents 1 and 2 Sel- .... I-i pick 2 *the phone line goes dead* Sel- Hello?? Are you there? Whats gonna happen now?
Paige~ "Auntie sel?" As i sit in the back set of the car i try to be really quiet. I want, no i need to hear that phone call. I wait as auntie sel finishes, but it doesn't sound good. She's stressed and frustrated. I zone out for a moment, thinking about where my parents could have possibly gone... they wouldn't leave me would they? Why should i rely on them to come back, its not like there my actual family... I was found on the side of the road. Now they have the audacity to leave me with Selena. I start to feel nauseous, my stomach twisting in knots as i think about loosing the people i thought loved me. I faintly hear my name being called, my vision is blurry and I'm not comprehending that's its a real voice.
Selena~ As i finish the phone call i take a deep breath calling myself then look back to Paige. I see her staring at the back of the seat in front of her. She looks focused, but in another world. "Paige you okay, I'm off the phone" She doesn't answer, i call her again. "Paige sweetie" This time she looks to me but doesn't say a word. "What's up kiddo?" She looks away from me a tear cascading down her face. I sigh and put the car in drive. She's gonna be okay i think, everyone is going to b okay. I take anther deep breath as i pull into the parking lot of the Boardwalk. I turn around again, this time Paige is looking at me, with a expression that I can't read. "Alright kiddo, things are being worked out, lets go clear our minds?" Saying this out loud seemed to make it more of a question to me then Paige but to my surprise she nodded her head yes. I get out and walk to get Paige out of the car.
Paige~ "They left me" As soon as the door opens that's what comes out of my mouth. Dang it... i didn't mean to say that out loud. "Sorry i had to say it, but I'm ready to relax for a while" Sel understands and we make our way down the boardwalk stoping along the way to get a hotdog. Mhhh the hotdogs from Coney Island are the best ones but these are pretty good too. Just as we are leaving the food area we see a bunch of policemen rush by, followed with a squad car, ambulance, and fire truck. I turn to sel with a questioning face.
Selena~ "Okayyy fine we can follow them" I give into her. Hey what was I supposed to do, tell her no after her parents went missing. We got to the Ferris wheel and... Oh no.

There's joe, hanging from the Ferris wheel, Taylor holding onto him for dear life and some guy in a mask holding a gun to her head. I pull Paige to me facing her to my stomach. She shouldn't see this. A police man comes up to me saying this is a restricted area and we cant be here, I explain the situation and he escorts us to a safer spot. As we sit there waiting for something, anything Paige starts to cry again. I hold her close to me placing genial kisses on her head, stroking her hair, trying to make her feel anything but pain and worry.
Joe~ I look up at Taylor, tears in my eyes fogging up my last moments to see her. I can feel her grip getting looser. "Taylor... I love you, and Paige so much, tell he that for me will you?" That's when it hits her she stars to sob. Seeing her under this presser breaks my heart, she's always gonna have the guilt of dropping me. She's gonna think my death is her fault. I can't have that.
Taylor~ I try not to shake as the heavy sobs escape my mouth. I cant let him go, i wont let him go. "N-no joe I'm not gonna let you down..your gonna get to see Paige again, we can get through this" I see the fire department trying to get the ladder high enough to get joe, but the farther they get the more the guy puts the man to my head. I scream at them stop. I start to feel joe slipping, shit no... i scoot closer to the edge as he pulls me with him, but i will not let go. " Joe i love you"
Joe~ I stare at Taylor then at the ground below me, i see her sliding to the edge of the cart, it begins to swing back and forth. She's gonna fall too if i don't let go, and Paige doesn't need to loose both of us, i wont let it happen. " Tay.. honey listen to me, i love you i always will but i need you to let go" I watch her cry trying to form words but all i can hear is the heartbreaking sound of her cries, tears streaming down her face, as well as mine. With one more look down i shake my body causing her to let go. I breath slowly on the long way down. I feel at peace with my death to be any second now, i say my last goodbyes to Taylor and Paige as my eyes close and I'm gone.
