As I climbed over the fence the wood was sharp and cut my arm, it wasnt very deep but it was deep enough to break the skin. I looked up letting my sorounding sink in. It was a backyard, green grass, swing set, mini pool. They must have kids, I wonder what there life is like how different it is than my childhood was.....
"Mia, Mia. Hey snap out of it. " I looked at him. "You ok?"
"Yeah, just thinking..."
"Well we better go before these people come out of there house. Your dad left."
I looked down at my arm, the cut was bigger than I though it was.
"Woah. Are you ok Mia?" Andrew asked looking at my arm.
"Yeah... I guess so, I mean it doesnt hurt. It looks pretty nasty though."
"We should get you cleaned up come on." Andrew stood up and grabbed my other arm to help me up.
"Uhh where would we get this cleaned up? We cant go to the store my dad might be there. I'll be ok for now I can wait." I looked at my arm the more I looked at it the worse it looked. The cut itself was about 6 or 7 inches long and it was deep and really gross. "Crap..." I mummbled.
"Oh Mia you wont be fine what if it get infected?"
"Andrew I'll be fine." I snaped walking away.
"Mia..I-Im sorry if I offended you I was just making sure you would be ok." I turned around and looked into his blue eyes full of tears.
"I'm sorry I snaped I do-" he kissed me cutting off my sentence.
"Its ok I understand you have alot on you mind." he put his hands around my face and brushed my black hair out of my eyes.
"What sould we do now?"
"How about get the hell out of this town?" getting out of this town sounded the the best way to get away from my Dad.
"Did you just ask me to run away with you?"
"Yeah I guess I did..we dont have to if you dont want to..."
"Andrew I would love to run away with you. But just where would we go to get out of here?"
"Uhhh..I have enough money to get us to New Mexico..."
"Wow....I've never been there."
"Do you want to go there or no?"
"Yes I do anwhere besides here."
"Then its setteled we will go to Albuquerque, New Mexico." He smiled.
