Joshua lay quivering beside Samuel, his head resting on his chest, and shivering slightly as the cool night air hit his bare shoulders. He pursed his lips as Samuel ran his hand through his hair. Joshua's head was reeling at what they had just done. Sodomy, that's what this was. But it felt so right to him, yet there was a deep feeling of guilt in him that he couldn't shake. He felt sore, though Samuel had been so gentle. He bit down on his lip gently, in thought, wincing slightly as they were still swollen from the way Samuel had kissed him. He hadn't just kissed his lips, but everywhere, and if he shut his eyes, he could still feel the sensation tingling in his body.
"Sam... what if we did the wrong thing?" He murmured into the darkness. "What if we sinned, and now we're condemned?"
"If we did wrong then let God strike us down here, where we lay," He whispered, and his words were so convincing and soothing that Joshua felt slightly relaxed. "And so, for now, we are safe. For who could tell us we are condemned for love?"
"I know, I'm just... scared. Not everyone thinks in the same way you do." He sighed and stretched out his aching back, pressing himself further into his lover.
"Well, let us open their eyes then..." Samuel whispered and that's all Joshua heard before he fell into a peaceful, dreamless sleep.
