Chapter 51

JUNGKOOK'S POV:

I am getting extremely impatient. It's my birthday but I am missing the person who I adore the most.

Currently I am watching hyungs to enjoy themselves. All are happy and laughing together. This is what I wanted. Happiness for everyone including her.

I was swirling my wine glass as someone suddenly interrupted me. " Missing someone?". I recognized the voice. I turned around saw my hyung.

"Hey Little bro, missing someone?" He was standing with a girl next to him. I am sure it's not Y/N's sister because I know how she looks. It was someone else.

" Yes I am." I mumbled. " Little bro do you recognize her?" Hyung asked. I nodded my head no. " This is our very own childhood friend." childhood friend. The only childhood friend I had who was a girl was " H-Harmony?" I spoke up.

"Yes that's me. Thank god you remembered me." She said and smiled. Three of us talked. She had grown quite well.

Suddenly my Hyung's phone rang. He looked up his phone to see who is calling. Once he saw the caller, blush appeared in his face. I know exactly who is calling him.

He excused himself and left me and Harmony catch up with each other. She was quite flirting with me but I didn't flirted back because I already gave my heart to someone. Someone I am waiting for to arrive.

As we talked something went inside my eyes. I started to rub my eyes. " Don't rub it will be more painful. Wait let me help you" She said and came near my face to help me out.

After a few seconds she said " Done " and she gave me a sweet smile. I didn't reacted back as I heard a familiar voice from somewhere. 

When my eyes followed the way the voice came from, my eyes meet with someone. The someone is Y/N. The person I was waiting for.

But surprisingly as soon as our eyes meet, she looked away. 

Y/N POV:

I was unconsciously staring at me. After a moment our eyes meet. I looked away immediately. I was feeling so down that I can't even smile at time.

"hey, you finally came" suddenly Jungkook said. "y-yeah" I said back at I was avoiding eye contact with him.

"oh Y/N you came too, I didn't knew that you would come as well since you are a very busy person. But glad that you did" Harm said with her usual smile. "y-yeah right" I said.

"hey are you ok?" Jungkook asked me in a concerned voice "totally" I said. Both of them started to talk with me but I gave them only one word answers as I was not really listening to any of there conversations.

They soon both started to laugh together. They look good together. Watching them made me remember the words my sister told me;

"Listen, you told me everything right? From it I can say that he just likes you as a friend. He sees you as a kid not as an adult. He will always treat you like that. You both have a little more age difference. I know, he doesn't like you as a women but as a kid. I know its hard but you should forget about him and continue your studies. Its more important."

My sister is right. He doesn't see me as a women but as a kid. Harmony is older than me by 3 years so its not a problem for her. They look nice together, I should back off.

I should back off him, then I won't be hurt much. I should follow what my sister said. I know what I should do now.

"I need to go now" I said and got up from the seat. "Why?" Harm asked me. " My sister came, I can't leave her alone." 

"But you-" I interrupted Jungkook " Sorry I need to" I said and rushed out from there. I didn't even look back. 

As soon as I reached my apartment, I heard my sister talking with someone, she giggling. I know who is the person in the other side. I am really happy for my sister.

I waited for her. After few more minutes she came to me. " Oh you are back". " Sis, I have made my decision". 

......

Its been two days since that incident. Today was my sisters engagement. It went super well. We had funny. I had seen my parents after soo long. I was very happy.

Last two days went in flash. I involved myself in the engagement preparation so that I can move on from Jungkook. But its hard when he is right in front on my eyes all the time.

I didn't went to the office. And I won't be visiting it again. That's right. Tonight, I am moving to London for continuing my studies. My sister is taking the position up until I return back.

No one knows yet. I told her not to tell to anyone other than our parents. Its hard to leave everything behind but I don't have any other choice. 

I saw how good Jinnie and Tae was with each other. Its only a matter of time until the start dating again. So the promise I made, I think I will be able to fulfil it. My sister is aware of my promise, and she assured me that she will make sure that they both start to date each other again.

I am really grateful that I had such as amazing sister. I have also seen Harm and Jungkook together. Seems like they are having fun together. I am glad that I didn't confessed to him that I like him or else it would have been a mess.

Minie and Yoon are also together. And Seokie and Joonie is also having fun together. They all are back together like they used to be. So my work here is done.

Right now, I can see that everything had finally fallen into pieces. Pieces of happiness. I can see it. And I am happy that I can leave them by watching their happy faces. Its all I wanted.

I am glad I am leaving them all healed.
