Childish CEO

Chapter 38

Y/N POV:

" I know its hard but, you should stop being friends with them" My sister said.

" what.." I mumbled.

" Look I know its hard for you, but its the best for you as well as for them. Just be their CEO. Treat them as your employee not as your friend. Treat them like they should be treated at the first place. I may sound as a bad person but it's for the best. You went there to handle a company not to make friends." 

"but-"

"There is not buts Sweetpea. Its for your betterment only. What that Jungkook guy said is correct. You are their boss not someone who can meddle in their lives. And out of all, you are an outsider for them. I know you are sweet and trends to make people friend with you but you should stop this. Its time for you to start behaving like a CEO rather than a their childhood friend."

"How can I do this to them Sis, they ar- "

" I know you can, you just need to make your heart and mind ready for it. And besides you will not live there for many days."

"huh? what do you mean?"

" Sweetpea, I am going to marry there remember."

"yeah?"

" Well I asked father if I can take over the company there, so that I can live with my husband over there. And I thought it would be better if you come back and continue you study here back home. And it seems like my decision is correct. But you can always come back to SK once you finish your study. I will give you back your company then."

" When I am supposed to go back home?"

"Once you finish your 1st year of college. I know the big project it right now in your hands. So I want you to finish it first. And I guess it will be finished before you complete your first year. So after it you will come back home, alright?"

" Hmm alright I guess. I am not meant for these whole CEO thing. But you agreed for the marriage?"

"No you are totally meant for being a CEO. You just need to grow more mature. I think you will after you finish your studies. And yes I accepted, which I am glad I did, after hearing your story. Anyway its lot for today so get rest now. Tomorrow is Monday, you have work, so sleep now. Good night Sweetpea."

"Good night Sis"

I cut the call. I placed my phone in the bedside table. And laid down on the bed.

" Sis is right. I really need to make myself stronger. I went with the flow and interfered in their lives. But I will do my best to make Tae and Jinnie together back again. It's my promise to myself." 

And I slept.

Next morning I woke up at 7 as usual. I got ready and went to the kitchen to have my breakfast. Milk and cereals. 

I took my tab and started going through it. The project programming is already done only the manufacturing is left. Once it gets finished everything will be ready for the finial conference.

Speaking of conference, I and the other heads, I mean who were previously my friends , are having a meeting together. I am nervous to face them today. I don't know why. I will do what my sister told me to do. 

Soon enough Mike came to pick we up and went to the office. 

I entered my office room and sat down on my chair. I don't know what I am feeling right now.

" Is there any problem, Y/N?" Mike asked me. " No, not really" I answered. " Ok then, but if you have a problem, I am always there to listen, ok?" Mike said. " Ok, thanks" I said.

"Well, you have a meeting with the heads in an hour and then you have another meeting with the board of directors and lastly a meeting with the manufacturers. You have three consecutive meetings today" Mike said. 

" I will be having a very busy day today." I said. I am happy about it. The lesser I have to meet them, the lesser I have to talk and lesser my heart will break when I have to speak with them in an strict manner.

"Yes. Here is the file for the boards meeting and I will bring you your coffee now." Mike said and went out.

Soon one hour went like a minute. I found myself in front of the meeting room for my first meeting today and the hardest one.

I entered the room and everyone greeted me. I took my sit and went with the meeting. Somethings I notices during the meeting.

Firstly, Seokie and Joonie look every happy, they were radiation lovely energy. I am so happy for them. Secondly, Jinnie he looks most normal in here. Thirdly, Minie he looks apologetic to me and so does Tae. And Finally, Kook who seems like he is in a different world and seems a little worried about something.

After presentation ended, the meeting is almost near its end.

Suddenly Minie spoken up.

" Y/N, look, whatever happened yesterday was not your fault it was Jung-" I interrupted Minie.

"Mi- , I mean Mr. Park, Its a meeting for discussing the project, not about yours or mine personal life. So, it would more appreciated , if we don't talk about it. And it would be better, if you and other heads call me Mam or Miss Y/N, rather than Y/N. I am your CEO not a friend..... anymore." I spoke.

I can see the shock in everyone's face. I am sorry I have to do these, I don't have any other choice.

" If no one has any further questions, then we shall end this meeting" I said and stood up from my chair.

" Y/N, what happened. Is something bothering you, we can help" Seokie asked me.

" No, Mr. Jung, nothing is bothering me. Thank you for asking." I said.

I turned to others and said " We are done with this meeting. Thank you for your time and I am looking forward for the files. You are free to leave. Now if you excuse me" I said.

I left the meeting room when I heard someone saying

 " You ruined it Jungkook, ARE YOU HAPPY NOW"
