It was a cold, dark night. It was around 12pm. I was by myself. It was almost completely pitch black and I could barely see. The only source of light I had was a dim beam from my phone. I didn't know where I was. My phone had no service so I couldn't call anyone. All I was trying to do was get back to my car. I had been lost for around 2 hours.
I was surrounded by trees. It was windy. I could hear the wind whistling through the leaves of the trees. There were many trees around so for the most part they blocked out the wind so I wasn't too cold. I was walking on a dirt trail. I could feel the pebbles underneath my feet with every step I took. I was tired and lost. I had been walking for miles. I decided that I was going to sit down and try to calm down. That's what I did.
I started to hear footsteps and whispering all around me. I thought it was my mind playing tricks because of how tired I was. I didn't think much of it. After a few minutes I got back up and started to look for my car again. I don't know why It was so hard for me to find the parking lot. I hadn't walked that far.
I pulled out my phone from my pocket to check the time. It was 12:54. I had been walking for hours. I turned the flashlight on my phone on and shined it around, first the left, then the right. As soon as I moved my phone over to the right of me to shine my flashlight I saw something moving. It was a figure. Maybe another person? Maybe it was just an animal. I was too tired to understand so I kept walking.
I started to see eyes pop up around me. Small yellow eyes, they resemble some of an animal. They started to fart all around me. I panicked and reached for my phone in my left pocket. I went to turn on my flash but quickly realized it had died. The eyes started to get closer and closer, they followed with an ear piercing scream.
All I remember after that was waking up in my room. My back was burning. It was covered in cuts and burns. I was also missing a chunk of my bicep. I walked downstairs to check and see if my car was in the driveway, it was. It was covered in blood. I walked out to my car, got into the driver's seat and drove to the hospital. I was sent into the ER and given stitches.
