Eclipse // SaTzu - Ongoing

Chapter 1

Tzuyu's POV:

"Hey!" Someone said from behind me.

I turned around, and I saw a man standing over the door with his crutch, wearing his favorite navy blue fedora cap, and his topsider kicks, looking good with sweet and cheeky smile.

"Daddyyyyyyyy!" I excitedly run towards him, and give him a very welcoming, and warm hug.

I'm still his baby, I'm also Jackson's baby.

"Oh, my Baby. I missed you!"

"Missed you too, Dad. How was life?" I said as I pulled away from the hug.

"Let me in first, Kid" He chuckled.

"Right" I helped him with his luggage, and guided him to the living room. "How are you Dad? It's been 4 months right?"

"Everything's fine, my dear." He said.

"How's your health? Is there any complications?" I asked again

"Nothing. I'm feeling all well these past few months after the operation, and chemotherapy really helps"

"Is that so?"

"Yes, I don't feel any pain at all, don't worry" He gave me reassuring smile.

"But can I just uh... At least live with you in Tainan, Dad? You know, to look over you" I said.

"What for? I'm always out of the country, Tzu. And as I said, I'm all well."

Well, my Dad has a bone metastases. He was diagnosed 2 years ago. Lucky for him, he found it out right away.

I tried to stop him from working after his surgery, but your boy Yi-Cheng is hard-headed, much harder than the coconut shell.

"So, you're coming later?" He asked.

"No, I think I will stay in the Diner's the whole day" I respond, and he just nodded.

My Dad and I talked a lot about what happened these past months without seeing each other. Normally in our daily lives we do calls during night. You know, typical family who lives overseas.

"Soooo, what's your plan this summer my ugly sister?"

Ladies and gentlemen, my annoying big brother in the house!

"The plan is to stay away from you" I playfully rolled my eyes. As I enter the counter, holding the tray, after serving one of the costumer.

I arrived in his diner right after lunch, and now it's past afternoon. And he's so ready to pester me.

Well, during school breaks this is my duty, I love serving our dear costumers. I'm not that good at keeping conversations, but their warm smiles, and pleasing personalities makes me want to come back.

One of the things that I loved here the most is the atmosphere, and the ambiance of the Diner. Everyone who came in here found it cozy, not just because it's sorrounded by trees, but because it's by the sea, and the mountain view... Plus the cozy sorrounding.
