𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 29 : 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧

    The next morning, the team gathered together and waited for the car to arrive. Lynn watched as her comrades all plan... And there's Higuchi, who's complaining about Shino being close to Akutagawa.

"What is she doing next to senpai?! She's not even on the same position as him!"

   Lynn sighed. "Higuchi, just let them be. You can't control someone's feelings now, hm?" She spoke, trying to calm down the blonde female by rubbing Higuchi's back. "The limo will arrive in a few minutes, get your bags ready." Chuuya said, alerting everyone. His eyes met Lynn's for a split second. He cleared his throat before turning away.

"You're in love, aren't you?"

    Hirotsu asked. Chuuya turned his head to the old man, hesitantly. "Maybe I am.. Maybe I'm not." He said to him. "I can tell. The way you look at her in the eyes, the way you'd stare at her when she wasn't looking." Hirotsu spoke, chuckling. ".. Sometimes I wonder if I ever get to shoot my shot." Chuuya said.

"She's the definition of perfect in my eyes. No woman could ever compare. That small waist of hers.. Would fit perfectly in my hands.. Just by looking at her smile, my day would light up like New Year's festival."

    Chuuya spoke, glancing towards Lynn, who was still helping Higuchi. "I wish you luck. Who knows? Maybe she'll feel the same way you do. And maybe have something more-" "S-shut it, old man!"

    Soon, the limo arrived. "Wow.. Fancy.." Lynn rolled her eyes. Everyone placed their bags and luggages at the back and got in the car. Later, the car started moving. Everyone was quiet. Shino decided to break the silence. "Alright! What's the plan, guys?" She asked enthusiastically. "You guard the treasures while I fight off the enemies using Roshoumon." Akutagawa spoke. "No, Akutagawa-kun. This is not a solo mission. Like it or not, we are all  doing this." Lynn objected Akutagawa. "How about me and senpai guard the outside, while you..."

   Chuuya, was surprisingly silent. No words came out of his mouth. Lynn was worried so she patted his shoulder. Chuuya snapped out of his thoughts. "Hm?" "You're silent. It's rare for you to act like that." "No, I was thinking of a plan."

   Lynn rolled her eyes at him and punched his shoulder playfully. "It better be good." She chuckled. 'Just fucking marry me, already.' Chuuya thought. Hirotsu was right. Chuuya was helplessly in love.

   A few minutes after chattering of what plan they would use, Chuuya clapped his hands, grabbing everyone's attention. "Alright, listen up. Here's what we're gonna do.."

    They reached Nagoya during night time. It was dark, but at least the street lights were on. "So.. They dropped us off.. At the shrine." Higuchi muttered. "Might as well be on our best behaviour since this is a shrine after all." Lynn spoke. "I'll bring your bags and keep them safe." Shino said, swiftly taking everyone's bags. "I'll come with you." Akuatagwa said, walking next to the black haired female.

"I-I'll come with..!"

"Shut up, Higuchi."

"S-sorry, senpai..!"

    Lynn just watched them. "You good? Now you  seem quiet." Chuuya mentioned, bumping her shoulder lightly. "No, it's just.. Peachy." She said. "About what?" He asked. ".. Y-your plan." She confessed. "What's wrong? Have you ever seen any of my plans 'not' work?" He asked, scoffing slightly. "I-it's just that.. The plan sounds more of.. An individual plan rather than.. A group. I have little doubts." She said, looking away. "Don't say that. I promise you, it'll work." Chuuya spoke, walking to another direction.

     Later that night, they all changed their clothes to comfortable Yukatas. Some guards who work there had served delicious food for the group to feast on. "These are delicious!" Shino spoke as she placed food into her mouth. "Slow down, Shino-chan. You might choke." Lynn chuckled. "Akutagawa-senpai..! Here, let me feed you-" Higuchi told Akutagawa. "No, Higuchi." Akutagawa declined as he coughed.

"Do they have any wine here?"

"Chuuya! This is a shrine  for God's sake."

     Chuuya clicked his tongue before looking away. Lynn just looked at him with a soft expression. She placed down her chopsticks and got up. Chuuya noticed and asked. "Where are you going?" Lynn answered him. "Take a small nap at the front. If you need me, wake me up please." She said with a smile. That very smile melted Chuuya's heart. Man..

"Yeah.. Alright."

    They have decided to pick who would stay up for that night. Chuuya wanted to take the shift for the first night. So he stayed up. Standing at the entrence of the shrine, watching, and observing any moving object. While Akutagawa, Shino and Higuchi guarded the sword.

".. The moon is beautiful tonight, isn't it?"

   A voice asked. Chuuya didn't startle since he knew who it belonged to. The voice was soft as silk that would melt his heart anytime he heard it. "You're awake already?" He chuckled. "I told you, it was a nap." Lynn said, now standing next to him. She looked at him, though she was taller than him (175—160), she felt as if he was taller than her. She couldn't help but admire his features.

Those sapphire blue eyes..

That soft ginger hair..

And mostly..

Those lips.

   Lynn blushed at the thought of kissing the ginger male. Was she growing feelings for him? Damn. Isn't it too fast for someone to catch feelings after a break up?

"Why do you think the enemies want the sword?"

   She asked him. ".. Maybe for world domination.. Or the power it holds. Who knows?" He spoke, looking into the sky blankly. "Well.. Whatever the reason may be, we'll be sure to keep an eye out for them." Lynn told him with a smile. "Yeah.. We will.."

   The next morning, the team woke up and everyone got ready. They all stood in front of the shrine in a circle as Chuuya was getting ready to speak. "Alright. So Akutagawa, Shino. You guys take the back of the shrine. Higuchi, keep an eye out for any intruders who are in the shrine, so you'll be inside. Now Lynn, you'll take the the entrence, which is the torii gates." He spoke. Everyone went to their assigned places as Chuuya made his way to his own.

This would take a long time.
