A big question mark

10 4 1

Sitting by the window
Staring at the blue sky

Gaze travels to those trees
And back to the sky.

Those clouds and
That kite soaring high

Voices of people mingling in my ears
But those eyes stuck to the sky

Thinking not of the past,
Nor present, but future
Looking at the coffin and
Hearing the latter crying

What happens after death?
What if we encounter it?
When thought deeply
Chest gets heavier
And eyes numb

Knees gets weaker and mind crazier.
All the wishes vanish away except one-
I don't want to die!
Why is death so haunting and
After life a big question mark?
