Chapter XXV

Yeji POV

Wolf's Lair Club

The party continue and so far everyone is so drunk. After Ryujin and I talked, she was dragged by her friends to the dancefloor while still hanging here at the dark corner of the club.

I look around me and saw my unnies sitting on our usual spot waving at me to come to them. I sighed and walked to them but I was stopped by Yuna which she headlock me with her arms.

"Yah stop doing that." I said while slapping her arms to release me.

"Happy birthday Yeji. I love you my twin. " She said while releasing me then kissed my forehead afterwards.

"Yah. I love you too. Happy birthday Yuna." I hugged her and kiss her forehead back.

"Yah! You exposed me to the public. I hate you. Now I can't walk freely outside." She said but still hugging me.

"Sorry Yunayah. Everyone deserves to know how talented you are." I said while ending our hug and dragging her to our unnies.

As we getting near the music stopped and they started singing a birthday song to us.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOUUUUU. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOUUUUU..."

Our parents are here holding a cake and my unnies are popping confetti to us.

I was overwhelmed that all the years passed this is the first time my family celebrated our birthday as complete. 

Yuna give me mic to say something.

"Uhm? Thank you?" I said and everyone just laughed at me.

I almost breakdown but I stand still and hold my tears looking at them.

 Yuna holds my left hand, stole the mic and speak. 

"We had been through ups and downs and we, Yeji and I are very grateful for supporting us. Thank you for being part of our lives."

We both bow down to them and they bow down to us too. 

 Let's enjoy the party everyone!" Yuna said while hugging me. 

I hugged her tight and smiled at her. She understands me so that is why I'm protecting her. When we are kids, Dad can't separate us. But the time goes by, I don't want her to depend on me so I personally ask Dad to let her study abroad so she can do whatever she wants and can live her life independently and I'm so happy that she find what she really wants rather than following my steps.

It's almost 3am and some of the guest are already leaving. The public are now  wasted and some our sobering up to stay up and continue dancing.

Now everyone is gathered at the VIP room sobering up. We are now settled in a big circular sofa chatting with each other.

Mina unnie on my left side cuddling with Sana and Yuna on my right side nuzzling my hair. Chaeryeong is sitting beside Yuna and the rest of our gang sit on vacant seat.  I saw  Nayeon unnie grabs Lia and Ryujin on our table and sit beside Sana. Lia and Ryujin are  sitting opposite to us.

"Tell them about us!" Nayeon unnie shouted.

 Everyone stop talking at each other and focus to me. They are waiting for my story and I know they really want to know who is Yeji Hwang Manoban really is.

I look at Ryujin and I can see in her eyes that she really wants to know to.

 I was hesitating to talk about my family but Lisa and Jisoo unnie enters the room and give me confused look.

"They want to know .."

"Don't force yourself if you don't want to." Mina unnie said while sipping her wine.

"But-"

"We understand, Yeji. Sorry for -" Nayeon unnie said but I interrupted her.

"I'm not Manoban and as I told you earlier Nayeon , Mina and Momo unnie is my real sisters." I told them and the J- line nodded for agreement.

" Lisa, Jisoo unnie and Yuna's dad Marco Manoban and my father Angelo Hwang are bestfriends, more like brothers. "

"Wait? Angelo Hwang? The famous mafia in the Korea that disappear? And according to the news his son inherit - " Jeongyeon unnie asked.

"Yeah unnie. He's our  dad and your wrong about the son thingy cause we are all girls here. " I chuckled after drinking my wine.

"So why you and Yuna  have the same birthday?" Lia asked seriously.

And the Manobans and Hwangs just laughed.

"Yeji and Yuna was really born in the same day, same hospital. Just different time I guess." Lisa unnie." Lisa unnie said.

"Maybe our parents did foursome. " Yuna said and everyone gasped and laughed after.

"That's the reason then." 

"So you guys inherit the Mafia thingy?" Jihyo unnie asked.

I looked at Lisa unnie and she was waiting  because she didn't know that I am holding the Mafia here in Sokor.

When I was about to tell them the truth, I was interrupted by Seulgi unnie who was looking like she just came from marathon.

"Kai's dragging Jennie outside."

Lisa unnie stands up and run outside  following Seulgi. The rest of The Roses also followed.

I saw Ryujin following them. I run to her and hold her hand.

"Stay beside me. It's dangerous." I said and she just nodded.

"Yeji. That's my sister please help her." 

"Don't worry. Lisa unnie love her. She will take care of Jennie. Just stay beside me and you will be fine okay?" She nodded while she clutch my jacket.

We run outside the bar and saw Kai with Jennie dragging her and the rest of his gang.

"Kai. Stop!" Lisa unnie shouted.

"She's my girlfriend Lisa. Just shut the fuck up."

Kai is drunk right now.

"You are hurting her Oppa." Ryujin said.

"You are on their side now Ryujin?" 

I pulled Ryujin behind me because Beomgyu walked to me.

"Let my girlfriend go."  Beomgyu said.

"I remembered you cheating her with your bestfriend and she broke up with you. Right?"

" Yejiiiiiiiii!" Ryujin shouted.

"Yunaaaaaa! Unnieeee!"

I looked back and I was caught off guard that Kai's members was dragging Ryujin and Lia  beside Jennie unnie.

"Let them go. Don't involve them. You morons." Lisa unnie said calmly.

I almost run to these fools but I was guarded by Seulgi and Wendy unnie.

"How about we will have fun tonight Lisa?" Kai said to Lisa unnie.

"What do you want dog?" Lisa unnie said and Kai's members run to punch Lisa for disrespecting their boss but Kai stopped them.

"Let's settle this shall we." Kai said.

"Tell us! What to do!" Rosé unnie shouted at the back.

"Race with us."
