I was walking home from school. My apartment was just a few blocks away.
I was gonna change clothes and pick up some spraypaint at the store. Hopefully they were still open.
I remembered i also had band practice. I was the bassist of a pop punk band called 'another thursday.' We werent too popular but we had a following. I heard loud music and cheering next door as i opened the front door to my apartment. 'Great' I thought.

I walked into my small apartment that smelled like cigarettes and sweat. Just to see the lead singer of my group seated on my ripped leather couch.

"Hey." He said.

"Grey, what the hell are you doing in my house?" I said as i flopped my bag down in my living room.

"I was gonna tell you band practice is postponed. And i smoked your weed."

"You better pay me back for that." I huffed.

"I drove you halfway across the state. Think of this as your way of paying me back."

I rolled my eyes. "Sure, whens band practice?"

"Weekend."

"Which day?"

"Both."

I groaned. "Weekends are for sleep."

"Get over it, we have a show soon."

"Yeah yeah whatever."
I sat down. "Get out of my house now."

Grey got up and left.

I hobbled to my room and undressed from my slightly colorful outfit. The fishnets were itchy and the off shoulder top was a pain to keep in place. Not to mention the necklaces constantly getting stuck in my hair.

I put on a new outfit, one that looked more casual and dark so police wouldn't spot me too easily if they did ever see me.

(Ignore the insane amount of accessories and go with a few you like, i couldnt find a better pic lol)

I smiled and looked in the mirror, rubbing my eyes so my already smoky eyeshadow would smudge more. 'It looks cool, even if i do say so myself.' I mumbled in my own mind.
I put in my earbuds and shuffled through my ipod until a Fob song came on.
I grabbed my bag and swung it over my shoulder. Heading out to my local paint store to pick up some spraypaint.
I picked out a bunch of colors so i knew i had enough to paint my artsy little heart out.

I stuffed them all in my bag once i payed and walked off to a slightly secluded spot i knew. It wasn't too covered in other peoples artwork so i didn't have to worry about tagging other peoples graffiti on accident.

"She said shes no good with words but im worse.." i mumbled along to the song that was blasting in my earbuds while walking into the mostly concrete building. 'Was this supposed to be a car park?' I asked myself, walking up the slight slope out of the concrete walls. I sat on the end, which didnt have a rail. I pulled out my sketchbook and drew a person dancing with beams of neon light around them. 'Nice drawing y/n' I jokingly fistbumped myself and walked back down to the concrete walls. I set down a small studio light and started on my work.
I grabbed out a light colored spray paint and painted the outlines of said dancing person.

It took me a while to color it in and get the lighting right, but it started pulling together as i painted the neons.
I suddenly heard someone else shake a can of spraypaint, the clacking noise echoing around. I wasn't sure where this person was.
"Hello?" I shouted.

A man with jet black hair that was hanging slightly in his face popped out from the other side of the wall that i was painting at.

"Oh hi! I didnt notice you were there, my music mustve been too loud." He smiled, his sudden presence kinda startled me, i couldnt see his face too well due to the fact that he was just out of reach for the light i had propped up earlier.

"Hi.." i said, with slight annoyance. I didnt mean to sound the way i did.

"Sorry," the man laughed softly and crept around the wall into the bright light shining onto the wall.

God, he was actually really pretty. He had some red eyeshadow all around his eyes. And his outfit was just jeans and a plain hoodie with a studded belt.
There was a black and grey striped scarf carefully draped over his shoulder.
"Whatcha makin?" He said, curiously looking at the big spraypainted drawing on the wall.
"Woah! Thats so cool, d'you wanna help Me make something?"

I nodded, grabbing the light off the floor and walking over to the other side of the wall, placing it there.
"What's your plan," i made a small questioning movement towards the taller man.

"Gerard."

"Gerard?"

"I was gonna make this big drawing of these two comic characters i came up with."
He showed me a drawing of two bloody people about to kiss, it looked really cool.

"Dope, what do you want me to do?"

"Im not good with spraypaint, i usually just draw. How about you do the outlines? Ill make the faces." He said.
"Ah, i forgot to ask for your name."

"Y/n you can call me y/n/n (your nickname) if you like too."

"Oh, well lets get to work then y/n/n." He smiled sweetly.

I helped gerard make the outlines and helped him with some trickier details aswel.
"Like that?" I asked after a little while, most of the drawing was coming together except the blood. "The blood's gonna need some layering."

Gerard nodded. "Do you have some red? I just realised i didnt bring any."

"Mhm!" I nodded and grabbed a few shades of red, helping gerard layer it.

"What're you listening to?" Gerard asked, pointing to my earbuds.

"Oh, i hate everything about you, by three days grace." I smiled.

"Good song, d'you play anything?" Gerard asked, he looked like an excited puppy.

I nodded. "I play bass in my own band." I said while doing some extra touchups on the blood.

"Oh cool! What's your band called?"

"Another thursday." I said.

Gerard looked even more excited. "Im the singer in my band, we're called my chemical romance. This is actually the album cover of one of our albums."

"Cool! Your band name sounds familiar but i cant put my finger on it. Ill listen to some of your songs later."
I said with a smile. "I should be heading home now though, i have school tomorrow."
I gathered my stuff.

"No problem." Gerard gathered his stuff too. "Oh, can i have your number? Maybe we could see eachother some other time" he smiled.

"Sure." I flipped open my phone and gave it to gerard. He put his number in and named himself ''that gerard guy <3' nice one.
I took my phone back and smiled at him as i made my way back home. I walked up the stairs to my apartment and opened the creaky door like usual. I didnt bother putting on clean clothes and just went to bed in the clothes i was already wearing.
