Chapter 16

Same day

Alex's POV:

I got home from school and went straight to the kitchen I needed to put my ice pack in the freezer. I Walked in and opened the freezer placing the ice pack inside before turning around I went to the front room to see my dad sitting on the couch watching basketball. I sighed and walked in taking a seat in one of the couch chairs. His eyes then flickered towards me he looked at me once then again doing a double take.

He then got up and walked towards me taking a hold of my chin and turning my face from side to side so that he could get a better look. After doing so he stepped back looking pissed.

"Who did that to you" he said pointing to my face.

"Congratulations this is the first time you've talked to me in w-" I said but he cut me off

"Who did that to you Alex" he said getting even more mad I let out a deep breath.

"It was just an incident at school that kind of got heated that's all"

"With you and who?"

"With me and Blake the captain of the football team oh and some of the football team"

My dad was now pissed I've never seen him like this before it shocked me but scared me all at the Same time he grabbed his jacket off of the coat rack and slipped on his shoes

"Where are you going"  I asked but he gave no answer I watched as he grabbed his car keys and left out of the front door great who knows what he's about to go and do now let's just hope whatever it is it doesn't land him in jail.

I turned around to see my mom at the top of the stairs making her way down she also seen my face and freaked out.

"Oh my god sweetheart how did this happen" she said examining my face I told her the same thing I told dad she was also mad but stayed calm

"Didn't they tell when they called" I questioned

"Yeah I knew about you being suspended but he didn't tell me what happened" my mom explained

"Go get some rest I'm taking you to the real hospital in the morning" my mom ordered Before kissing me on the forehead.

I smiled and went upstairs to sleep as my mom said. I got in my room took off my socks,shirt pants,and,boxers. I then grabbed a towel and went to go shower. I got in the shower and let the warm water run down my back as i grabbed my ocean breeze body wash and washed up with it. After my shower I got out feeling better then I did before I took the towel and dried myself off before grabbing a pair of shorts and a T shirt. I pulled on the shorts and my T shirt not really wanting to wear boxers right now I slipped in bed getting comfortable I then laid there in looked at the celling letting my mind wonder.

Unfortunately for me it decided to wonder off to Grace I hate the fact that I want her but she doesn't want me. I can't do nothing about it so I guess this my reality now.

I laid there for a good minute or so the best sleep I ever had was with Grace after a few more minutes my mind had finally shut off and my eyes started to get heavy ad my body started to sink more and more into my bed not soon after my eyes shut letting sleep slowly claim it's spot.

The next morning:

"You think she's dead"

"No dummy she can't die from a black eye"

"Your not a doctor you don't know that"
