Chapter 5

Taylor's POV:

*Ring ring, ring ring* I had been trying to call Alex all day but hadn't gotten an answer I was worried sick about her I know she basically told me to fuck off but she's my best friend I'm not going to stop trying just because she told me to it's been a week and I've called her mom every day to ask if she was home yet and every time I've got the same answer.

I was on my way up to the porch of Alex's house when an unexpected guest was already on there. "Alex!!!?" I called as I walked up just as she was about to knock on the door.

Alex's POV:
Sometime earlier.....
I was packing my stuff in my little book-bag I knew I wasn't going to be staying here long that's why I hadn't packed much. I had fun here it was nice to just get away from my problems and I wish I could run forever but I know running from your problems never solve anything but instead leaving behind unresolved problems with no solution. Just then I heard a knock on the guest room door frame.

"Hey there" I turned around to see Mia leaning against the door frame.

"Hey" I said with a smile but she could tell it was forced. Mia knew everything already I had told her about what happened when we had lunch at the mall but I purposely didn't tell her the situation with Grace as I didn't feel comfortable talking about my crush with my Ex

"Okay What's on your mind?" She asked with an eyebrow raised "Huh? Nothing" I said turning back to my bag acting as if I had no idea about what she was talking about.

"Come on Alex I know you better then you know yourself" she said walking over and putting an hand on my shoulder. The sad part is that she actually do know me better then I know myself whenever something was bothering me she was always the first to notice.

I sighed and turned to face her "i was just thinking about my dad and how I don't want to go home and face him"

Mia sighed "I know it's hard but you have to obviously you've been hiding the way you felt instead of telling him. all those emotions become too much for you to handle so you blow" she explained

Yeah I know I just wish I hadn't done it in front of everybody I thought to myself

"Your right" I said giving her a small smile she then hugged me before stepping back and giving me a kiss on the cheek that made me blush a little.

"Now come downstairs Bri and Bella wants to say bye" she said I nodded and grabbed my bag

We went downstairs and Bri and Bella were waiting by the door Along with Lynn and John I gave everyone a hug goodbye. But Bella had the hardest time with me leaving

"But why can't you stay" she said pouting I smiled and bent down so that I was her hight "I'll come back and visit again I just have some problems to solve" she crossed her arms and looked at me "you promise" she asked I offered her my pinky "I pinky promise" she then locked her pinky finger with mine and nodded I stood up ruffling her hair. Before smiling and waving goodbye to everyone.

I got in the car and pulled off this is going to be a long ride back.

20 minutes later

I had finally pulled up to my house I was sitting outside in the car debating rather i should go in or put my car in drive and run away from my problems again. I was thinking for a good few minutes before I finally made a decision. I got out of the car grabbing my bag and going up to the door but just as I was about to knock someone said my name "Alex!!?" I quickly turned around only to come face to face with Taylor my best friend she hugged me "oh my gosh I was worried sick" she said as I hugged her back I can't lie I had missed her and felt bad about the way I acted towards her.
