Dodomeki look much like human women except they have long arms that are covered in bird eyes. They were once humans, but their habit of stealing money led them to be cursed and transform into this yōkai. They are often found in cities and towns, especially marketplaces.

FUN FACT: The bird eyes that grow on the dodomeki's arm are a reference to the Japanese dōsen, a copper coin with a hole in the middle of it that's commonly known as the chōmoku (bird's eye).
