Your POV
Ever since the double date, I've been thinking about a lot of things. I'd managed to forget about my ex for a while, but when it brought him up, I realized I should tell Ranboo about it. (I smell future plot line) (Maybe, maybe not. Who knows?) Because if I didn't, then it might seem like I'm hiding things from him, which is the last thing I wanted to do.
I didn't know when the best time to tell him would be. I wanted to do it as soon as I could though...
I invited Ranboo over to my house after school one day. My parents would be out for most of the day, so we'd have most of the day together. As soon as he walked into my room, he flopped onto my bed. I laughed a bit at him.
"Doing what I do, huh?" I asked, as Ranboo sat up.
"Thought it'd be a funny thing to do," Ranboo laughed awkwardly. I smiled softly.
"It was funny, Boo," I smiled. I sat beside him, before deciding to bring up everything I wanted to talk about... I was hoping how was an alright time to do it. "Hey Ranboo, can I talk to you about something real fast?"
"Yeah, of course. What's up?" Ranboo said. As soon as he said that, I smirked.
"The ceiling is what's up~" I smirked, since he usually said that to me when I asked what's up. He just rolled his eyes.
"I absolutely hate you for that," Ranboo laughed.
(I DO TOO)
(GOOD /J /LH)"I think us dating says otherwise, but anyway- in all seriousness, I want to tell you about someone... Cian brought it up the other day, and it's been bothering me. I feel like I'm keeping something from you, and that's the last thing I want to do." I said, holding his hand.
"Are you talking about... Your ex?" Ranboo guessed, not completely sure. I nodded.
"Yeah, I just... Want to explain that entire thing. Sort of why I... Kept it from you, I guess..." I sighed, looking away.
"You don't have to talk about this, especially if it's something you'd rather not talk about it," Ranboo said, rubbing my hand a bit.
"No, I feel like I need to... Uh, I'm just going to start with the reason why I didn't really tell you about it... It was really just because, I didn't think it was important to mention, at least at first I didn't. But after Cian said something, I realized you should know." I sighed. This was going to be a long explanation...
"I was with this guy in... Freshman year I think? (Year 9) At the time, I thought it was the most serious thing, but looking back, it was nothing serious. He wasn't the best person... He was pretty... Manipulative... Uh, he didn't do anything too bad, but he made people believe some things about me that aren't true... It was just a whole situation. I lost a lot of friends around that time. Cian was the only person that sided with me. I'm lucky to have him as a friend..." I smiled a bit at the thought of Cian always being there for me. They're an amazing person... Immediately after I explained what had happened, Ranboo just tightly hugged me.
