*WE RUSHING THINGS. ANOTHER FEW WEEK TIMESKIP*
I sighed as I looked at everyone crowding an area to get ready. It was finally the day of graduation... I didn't know if I should've felt happy, excited, or absolutely terrified. So far, I felt all three. We'd be sitting in our seats to walk on stage soon. I was absolutely terrified...
"Hey, you okay?" I heard Ranboo ask, putting his hand on my shoulder.
"Yeah, I'm good. Just... Pretty anxious, if I'm being honest," I laughed a bit awkwardly.
"Completely understandable, I'm feeling the same way honestly. But... I know everything is going to go well, and we'll be done before you know it," Ranboo tried to reassure. That wasn't even what scared me honestly...
"Truth is, that's not even what I'm worried about..." I sighed.
"Wanna talk about it?" Ranboo asked. I looked up at him.
"I'm just worried about this summer. We're gonna be away from each other for a while. What'll happen during that time?" I asked, giving Ranboo a worried look. He sighed and looked away for a moment.
"Hey, let's try not to think about that right now, okay? Today is going to be a long, exciting day," Ranboo tried to reassure.
"Alright, I'll try not to think too much of it," I smiled a bit.
"Good, Good. Now... I think it's time we go over there. We're going to be waiting a while," Ranboo laughed awkwardly.
-------
I smiled and hugged Cian as we finally found each other after the entire ceremony.
"Can you believe it!? We did it! We survived hell!" Cian cheered. I laughed.
"Yeah... Yeah, we did!" I smiled widely. Violet ran over to us, hugging Cian from behind. I noticed Ranboo follow behind her. He walked over to me.
"We did it. We've officially graduated," Ranboo smiled, looking over at Cian and Violet.
"Somehow, we did. I honestly can't believe this..." I smiled, looking up at Ranboo now. "Ready to be an adult now?"
"Hell no, but I guess I'll have to, huh?" Ranboo laughed awkwardly.
"Yeah, you will!" I said.
"Come on, Lovebirds! Let's go celebrate!" Cian said.
"What do you think we should do?" I asked.
"Shit, I didn't think that through-" Cian awkwardly said, scratching the back on their neck. I laughed a bit. They were always so disorganized, but we all loved that about him.
"I kind of want to head home for now, and change out of this cap and gown and everything-" I said.
"Okay, how about- We all go home, change, then meetup somewhere?" Cian asked.
"I guess we could do that?" Ranboo said.
"I've had a lot of socialization today, so uh- We'll need to wait and see how I feel later if that's alright?" I asked.
"Yeah, totally! Now first, let's get a photo together! Do you guys have your masks and glasses?" Cian asked, pulling out their phone. With how Cian had been recently with taking photos constantly, I almost always brought them along with me now. I pulled out a mask and my sunglasses.
"Ranboo, you got yours?" I asked. He dug in his pockets for a moment, then found his classis half black and half white mask. He was already wearing his sunglasses, since he did that pretty often when it came to going out-
"I guess I do," He smiled. We put them on, and Cian took out his phone.
"Ranboo, you're the tallest. Take the photo!" Cian said, handing Ranboo his phone. Ranboo rolled his eyes, taking the phone from Cian. Ranboo took the photo, then gave it back to Cian. "Yess, we look so good! I'll send you guys the photos so you can post them if you wanted~"
"Sounds like a plan! Nowww... I think we should all head home, yeah?" Violet said.
"I think that sounds nice," Cian said.
-------
I sat in my desk chair, just smiling. Finally, I was done with the extra stress and could just relax, and spend a good while streaming. I already knew I was going to have a fun time, and I was looking forward to all of it.
I started up my computer and immediately went onto Twitter. I noticed the tags 'RANBOOGRADUATED' 'N/NGRADUATED' 'N/NBOOGRADUATED' Just a lot of tags on us graduating- (I remember I was slowly watching other people part of the DSMP when this was trending. At least I think it was trending- Man this was in June, I don't remember LMAO) I smiled and scrolled through the tags, looking at all the fanart.
Everyone was congratulating us on graduating. I didn't see any negativity during my scroll. I liked a few, and retweeted some, also giving an occasional response to others.
Today had been an exciting day, just being happy with my friends. I wish things could stay like that forever, but sometimes... Things can't be how you always want them to be.
