There is only so long you can remain amused at the clouds and water beneath you.

I sit as I am looking out the window. The same thing I have been doing for the past hour. I was fascinated by it all at first. Then I was lost in my thoughts on how airplanes work. Which I then asked Arlo about. He told me some scientific stuff that made as little sense as it did then as it does now. I should have paid more attention in year 9 science.

Now I am getting a bit bored. I don't say anything. I will survive.

Arlo has been on some sort of call in the other room for the past ten minutes. I don't want to bother him or anything.

At Least that's what I thought. I feel warm hands brush down the side of my neck, then rest of my shoulders from behind me.

I turn around revealing no other than Arlo.

"Are you bored?" he says, I turn back around and his hands remain resting on my shoulders.

"No." I lied.

"Would the books you got be any help?"

Oh my gosh, I completely forgot about those. The thought of reading sounds like a dream.

I turn back around, when I feel one hand leave my shoulder and a rustling sound.

Then in Arlos' hand is 'A Love Game.'

Of course. I roll my eyes and turn back around. I am not going to read that anywhere near Arlos presence.

"I am more than happy to read it to you, if you don't want to read it yourself."

"No." I say.

He hands the book back to me and then I snatch it from him.

"If you get stuck on any words, let me know. I can help you out." he pauses. "Or, if you get confused by anything that happens. Let me know as well. I don't know how well that little innocent brain of yours will understand what is going on."

Oh dear god.

"What makes you think that my brain is innocent?"

He gives me a look that says really Emma?

"Fine then tell me..." He picks up the book that rests on my lap and flips to a page. "Do you know what 'and then he flipped me over and did a 69'. Do you know what that means, angel?"

"No." I admit, "I don't."

"Would you like me to explain it to you?"

"Do I want to know?"

"Well, If you're going to continue to read this book. I think it's necessary."

"Well?" I say.

As soon as the foul words leave his mouth, I immediately regret saying anything.

"Oh." Is all I manage to say. "Ok."

A tight grin tugs on his face.

"Glad I could help." Arlo concludes. He sits beside me on the other chair, is he going to be there the whole time when I read this book?

I stare down at the book and contemplate if I want to even read this book. It sounded great when I read the blurb, but that little explanation Arlo just told me, I think will only be a glimpse into what goes on inside the pages. Arlo was kind when he provided vivid descriptions when explaining to me what '69' mean. To be honest, I wish I never asked.
