Chapter 19: Fly

Seri and Jeong Hyeok were able to book their paragliding trip a day after. They were able to search for one in Kleine Schneidegg. So after browsing through the place online and seeing how beautiful the place is, they agreed on visiting this site.

On the paragliding day, Jeong Hyeok walked out of his room and continued walking towards Seri's room. Once he landed outside her door, he knocked thrice. He was about to knock again when he didn't receive a response from her. But before his middle knuckles reached the door surface, Seri suddenly opened the door. "Let's go," she told him with a bright smile on her face while carrying a bag on her back.

Jeong Hyeok chuckled at her expression and grabbed her hand as they walked down the stairs together.

As they reached the final step of the staircase, Seung Dan and Dani were there. As the married couple looked over the two people walking down, their jaws dropped when they saw the two walking down hand in hand.

"W-what's going on?" Dani asked in surprise.

"You should be a fortune teller, Dani. You saw something in us, right?" Seri smiled at her and gave her a wink.

"OMG!" And Dani covered her mouth that turned her screams into squeals.

"Wait, you two are together?" Seung Jun asked which earned him a push from his wife.

"Ya! They are. It's so obvious. You didn't need to ask the question. Aish!" Dani glared at him and Seung Jun gulped hard.

"I'm happy for the both of you. Seriously, my heart is bouncing up and down," Dani laughed as he placed her two hands on her chest. "We shall talk soon, Seri," and Seri nodded.

"Oh we should too, Jeong Hyeok," Seung Jun also said while he pointed and glared at him. "You're keeping so many secrets from me. Are you even my best friend?" He teased him.

Jeong Hyeok laughed at his best friend's banter, "Ya! I'm sorry, okay? Let's talk soon." He gave him a grin and continued talking to them, "Seri and I will go paragliding in Grindelwald. Do you guys want to join?"

"Nah. We'll leave the both of you together on your date. Besides, I'm also pregnant so I can't go paragliding," Dani said as she held her tummy.

The four of them exchanged smiles and laughs as Jeong Hyeok and Seri nodded at them and left the hostel.

They traveled for about an hour to reach their destination. There were many paragliders when they arrived and they were amazed at how skillful they were.

"Since we're not experts in paragliding, we'll be going separately with a pilot. Be comfortable and confident with them, okay? They'll guide you, so don't be scared." Jeong Hyeok assured Seri who will be paragliding for the first time.

Jeong Hyeok tried paragliding once when he also visited Switzerland, but he was no expert in maneuvering the gear. He left the control of it to the skilled paragliders.

When they both reached the paragliding area and fastened all the necessary safety equipment they needed on their body, Jeong Hyeok gave a squeeze on Seri's hand when he saw that she was nervous. "You'll be okay. Scream if you have to," he shifted his hands on both of her shoulders.

"I may be screaming, too. I have decided that this will be my last step to finally cure myself. I'll let out all that I am feeling and be free from any pain that I have in my heart. And I want you to do it too. This is a good start. This is a great way to release it," he gave him an encouraging smile.

Seri breathed deeply before she answered him, "You're right." She looked at the paragliders above, "We'll be free with our past heartaches with this and it will set our own freedom as a couple. Flying will set us free."

They gave each other a warm and tight hug before they went back to the paragliding spot where both of them felt fully positive and ready to take on the ride.
