Third Person's POV
Dying is a painful occurrence. But what comes after it? That's what scared the white haired girl so much. Not being able to feel anything, not seeing anything, not hearing anything but the sound of your thoughts in emptiness......
It drives a human to insanity.
All they have was their thoughts after all. Thoughts that questioned, "Was it worth it?" "Did your death justify anything?" "Is this what you wanted?"
Of course it was never the thing she wanted. But it would've just happen in the near future anyway. What was the point?
Her "eyes" are closed as her consciousness floated onto nothingness like she was suspended inside the darker pits of a vast ocean. That was until, she was forced out of her misery just like pulling a fish out of the ocean forcefully.
But instead of dying because she was out of the water, she inhaled her first breath yet again. She was amazed, as if she discovered a long lost feeling once again. It wasn't completely wrong though, even the shortest seconds in that void felt like centuries and centuries all together.
Her eyes opened again, taking note of the empty room around her. It was like the void, but it had a faint light glowing from somewhere she couldn't see. It was enough for her. Enough that she feels the sense of seeing and feeling again.
For a few hours she sat, staring at her hands. It was so pale just like the color of a sunlight that shone through clouds of snow. Her "body" or whatever she was in, was cold and hot at the same time. Comfortable and uneasy at the same time.
It was good. She relished in the feeling, seeing that she thought that if she felt pain, she is alive.
[You're finally awake. It took me long to get you, you know? The ninth circle of hell loves you too much.]
The girl's eyes looked at the owner of the voice she just heared. It was a man that wore a white and navy blue Japanese yukata. He held a fan on his right hand that matched the colors of his yukata, along with a navy blue hilted katana that rested idly on his hips.
But the most intriguing sight was that he wore a hat that looked like a rabbit's head. It, like any of the things he currently wore, was navy blue in color. It covered his head down to his nose, making his appearance a mystery to the girl.
[W-wait, why the hostility? Don't you remember me?]
The man asked to her. She didn't answer, not because she doesn't want to, but because she couldn't find the right words to say. He was familiar in a sense that irritated her. She felt like she resented this man back then, but she kept quiet seeing as it was impolite to say what was on her mind, and she was still suspicious.
Who can blame her, really? It's not like you can trust anyone after you died, punished in hell, and just got back to life right?
[Damn. Pulling you out there must've erased your memories. I should've been more careful. I apologize Miss Detective, but your suffering doesn't end here.]
The girl called "Miss Detective" frowned and raised her eyebrow. He knows her alright. And she was already irritated by the statement he just told her.
[You see, I had to send you to the ninth circle of hell after what you did to the world I govern in. Remember the Naruto world?]
