Clara's POV

When I returned to my bedroom at Carlos Hotel. I laid in bed feeling dead beat after one entire long day of happenings, from the downs to the ups, this was surely one hell of a "roller coaster" ride for me. As my eyes wandered upon the posh furniture around me, I still couldn't believe how I was so lucky to land myself in one of the most prestigious presidential suite in the world with the large windows presenting a beautiful night view of Vegas. What's more unbelievable was the very existence of Luciano. My heart started to race as I recalled the events that happened, the feel I got when I collided into him, the gratitude I had towards him for being my saviour, the joy and laughter he brought to me when we spent time together.

How could so many things even happened within a day, this has got to be one of the most happening days in my life amidst the usual mundane life that I lived through.

Oh no... Am I already falling in love with him?! I immediately cupped my hands over my racing heart and ran into the bathroom to splash cold water on my face. "Clara, Clara, you need to stop this madness!" I said to myself in the mirror as the cold water dripped down from my face.

Suddenly, I heard my phone vibrating in silent mode. I grabbed a face towel to wipe my face as I ran out of the bathroom to ransack through my bag for my phone but I didn't manage to pick it up in time when I found it. That was when I saw my phone flashed a notification of 30 missed calls from Dorris on my screen! Oh no! Today was so happening that I didn't have the time to pull out my phone to check on it and I completely forgot to drop Dorris a text that I reached Vegas safely. I quickly dialled Doris's number to apologise to her over face time.

"OH MY GOD! Where have you been?! I was worried sick about you!" Dorris exclaimed the moment she saw me on facetime.

"I know... I'm really really sorry about it... There were just too many things going on today," I said with a guilt-stricken face.

"It's alright now... I'm glad to know that you're fine in Vegas." Dorris heaved a sigh of relief.

"Wow... That's a really grand and nice-looking room you've got! I can't believe you bought such a luxurious package!" Dorris exclaimed in astonishment when she noticed the backdrop of the room I was in through facetime.

"Er... It's a long story Dorris, I will catch up with you once I'm back home. It's been a long tiring day, I got to hit the sack now before I start muttering nonsense to you," I yawned while saying as I felt the heaviness of my eyelids shutting down on me.

"Alright, make sure you enjoy yourself in Vegas! Good Night Babe!" Dorris said as she waved bye to me over facetime.

*The Next Morning*

I woke up the next day feeling charged thanks to the ultra comfortable bed that I slept in. I stretched myself and my lips curled into a slow smile to the beautiful morning view of Vegas greeting me as my eyes slowly blinked open.

I walked out of the bathroom after washing up and I smelled faint fumes of sizzling bacon drifted up from the kitchen. As I bunny sniff my way down the stairs to the kitchen with hunger pangs, the honey smell of frying butter reached my nostrils and assaulted my brain with mouthwatering images of the fluffy and warm goodness of pancakes. To my surprise, Luciano was the one behind all these. He stood in front of the stove flipping pancakes with one hand like a professional while scooping out bacon with another hand onto the well-plated breakfast platter. As he held onto the frying pan, flipping pancakes, his arm curled revealing his muscular biceps. My eyes couldn't help "venturing" around his well-toned huge body, his figure somewhat looked like Hugh Jackman in Wolverine 3. He was only in his singlet and sweat pants, still looking so hot even being in such a casual attire, an adrenaline rush set my heart racing again.
