WheeIn woke up early. She immediately took a bath. She winced when the lukewarm water hits her head. WheeIn hurriedly finish taking a shower. The pain on her head wound hardly put her to sleep last night so she decided to go to Byul's clinic early.
She took a taxi to the hospital. Their driver is available but she chose not let him take here there. She didn't want her parents to know where she was going. Because for sure they will also know that she was with the rioter yesterday at the rally.
WheeIn caught up with a white woman inside Byul's clinic.
"I ... I'm looking for Byul ... I mean Dr. Moon."
"Do you have an appointment, Miss?"
"No, nothing."
"Because Dr. Moon's duty is near ---"
"It's alright, YooA."
WheeIn looked around and saw the door open of the room.
"Byul ...!" Her face lit up when she saw the young woman.
"She's a dear friend, YooA." The young woman smiled. "I was at their house last night. I expected her to come here."
"Her secretary seemed embarrassed to smile. WheeIn hesitantly followed Byul into the check-up room. In one corner of it was a small altar. Byul examined her head wound.
"Maybe this wound got wet last night," she whispered. "You're really stubborn."
"I just cleaned it with warm water."
"Reason it got this swollen," she clicked her tongue. "Now I understand why your Dad is so worried with you like that."
WheeIn blinked for a moment. The smell of the perfume Byul was using attacked her. It seemed to be poison spreading throughout her system.
"I love your perfume," she said in a low voice. The young doctor was stunned for a moment at what she is to do. Her right hand, holding a cotton ball, hung in the air.
"Solar doesn't like my perfume," she could only say. "It smells too simple."
"It just smells so natural."
WheeIn looked up at the doctor. Their eyes met in an instant. They even overcame what drew each other's eyes. WheeIn held her breath for fear of breaking the magic that wrapped around her.
"Do you like me?" Byul's eyebrows met.
"What?"
"I see in your eyes." Grinning to tease. "You like me."
As far as Byul was concerned, WheeIn quickly bowed. At that moment it became difficult for her to meet her eyes again. She felt like melting.
"If I don't have a girlfriend I'll court you," Byul said seriously. "But my girlfriend is your friend."
WheeIn pulled her head away from Byul's when she tried to press the cotton ball.
"Don't move," she gripped WheeIn's shoulder tightly and then pressed the cotton ball tightly to the wound on the girl's head.
WheeIn bit her lip hard in pain as the liquid placed in that cotton ball touch the wound.
"What I put in will help reduce swelling." She smiled and sat down in WheeIn's opposite chair. "Are you alright?"
"Yes, thank you."
"Why not a cup of coffee before you leave?" she asked.
"But ... aren't you still on duty ...?"
"Not really," with a wide smile. "I start at twelve o'clock noon today. I just meant to get in early because I knew you were coming."
"Oh!" What Byul said was enough to touch her. Is she really that important. Whether it's because Solar is her friend or because she's special to her, it doesn't matter. What matters is that they are together right now.
