"Good morning, Clay," George said, holding a mug of coffee in his hand.
"Hi, George," Clay replied, stroking his brush lightly on the canvass, blending the skin color of Schlatt in his cheeks.
George opens the curtain and ihe sunshine entered in the room. He sat at the edge of the bed, facing the floral painting in his room. The painting that once welcomed him in the first place. How sweet, when George only remember those kind times. Where his boyfriend, who he once thought would be a very old man, will nearly smash him his cane.
He takes a sip of his coffee and looked at the guitar on the room. It's just yesterday when he sang beside Clay. But somehow every second feels like forever. A sweet forever worthwhile enjoying and remembering. Everyday feels forever that was so quick. Everyday feels so sweet. George hope it would only feel like that.
George walked beside Clay, holding a cup of coffee. "So how is Schlatt going?"
He remember what he Karl has tell him once. That somehow and somepoint he needs his butterfly.
"It would only take a few touches and this would be finished," Clay starts mixing colors on his palette. "Why you ask?"
"No reason, I just want to ask you," George walked away. "Somehow I shouldn't disturb you for a while,"
Clay looked straightly at George.
"For the better," George added. "It's much better to give you some time to concentrate, and it much better than you wanted me to stay here and aciidentally spill this coffee to your portrait,"
Clay nodded. "Ok, thank you for understanding,"
George left the room siling with a cu in hand. Closing the door silently to not cause any nuisance.
So he remembered back then like two months ago ehen he handed the chosen portrait of Schlatt on Clay. George was sure embridled himslef in fury. He hated that man when he wants to evict him in time. He have no idea on how to return at that time, but now he knows.
George didn't even understand himself. Schlatt was coming to claim his order, and George will meet him once again. But he's fine with it. In fact, he wants to meet Schlatt and have some time to talk.
He walked to the living room and placed his coffee on the center table. He wants to watch some youtube and tv chanells, but somehow technology was not present. Which gave him some more time, more time to reflect himself and more time to understand his feelings.
Sudddenly he hear some knocks from the door. He walked to the door and opened it.
It was Schlatt. The two got contact and have a awkward silence on one another. Not until Schlatt innocently smiled and fixed his top black hat.
"Come in, Mr. Schlatt," George smiled back and he said it politely.
He doesn't know. Schlatt was too bland than his last visit expression, which is intimidating. George doesn't know. But Schlatt seem sorry today.
Schlatt sat at the couch room stare at George's coffee. "You want some coffee, Mr. Schlatt,"
"Yes, thank you," Schlatt responded.
George smiled and went to the kitchen to get some coffee powder.
"Did Dream finished the painting that i asked?" Schlatt asked.
"Not yet Mr, but it's just some final touches and later it would be finished," George poured hot water on the coffee, and placed some sugar cubes.
Schlatt nodded.
George have guts that something is wrong, or something is fishy or auspicious. He tried to not think of it anyway and only rolled his eyes. He picked a small plate in the cupboard where he can place the tea, and after that he delivered it to Schlatt.
"Thank you," Schlatt smiled.
George sighed for a while. "Mr. Schlatt, can I have a talk to you,"
Schlatt grinned again. "Sure, that's also one of the reasons why I came here,"

"So I heard the news George, you and Clay have been in a relationship? Are the rumors true?" Schlatt first asked.
George breathed the fresh air outside the new morning. Below the awnings was a bench, which the two had decided to drink their coffees, While the one was waiting for the painting from athe local virtuoso, while the one is waiting for an answer from a long lost butterfly.
George placed his cup beside him after a sip. "Yes, how did you know?"
"I heard it from the librarian, Karl. He said it to me when we met at the casino last night," He explained.
"Oh Yes," he tried to remember what happened in the casino last night. "I also saw you there,"
Schlatt smiled. "Congratsulation," he averted away, seems alarmed.
"Why is something bothering you?" George didn't limit himself to ask.
"Nothing," Schlatt takes a sip from his coffe. "Maybe some things are worth to be talked later,"
"Aren't you gonna ask me why I am still here," George said.
Schlatt started to stand up. "I have no doubts. Since on the first day I have a talk to you, you seem have no doubt on your choice. You have no plan on going back,"
"Like what I said, I don't know how and why did I got here in this timeline," he tried to explain. "I don't know how to get back, but now I know,"
Schlatt fell silent for some seconds. "Now you know, from whom?"
"From Karl,"
"The librarian?"
"Yes,"
"How?"
George breathed. "Karl was also a time traveler, but he can control where he can go. He shared me some tips, on how to get back?"
"That's good, so you have a plan for returning now," Schlatt inserted.
George looked down after realizing. Now that he knows how to get back, it only takes for him to do that.
He shakes his head.
"Well I can't blame you for that, if I can explain you some reason maybe you can change your mind," Schlatt sat at the bench.
"Why did you ever want to get rid of me? What makes my existence bother something in your life,"
"I'm afraid of the butterfly effect George. It will mostly affect you and make you dissapointed, and somehow it also affects me, and everything aroun your environment," Schlatt holds himself to be calm while saying these words.
"Ha? How did my existence affects you," George starts to sound furious.
Schlatt gulped his courage and sighed. "I hope this can help,"
Then Schlatt removed his top hat.
George's eyes enlarged after seeing what is in top of Schlatt's head. "Sch- Schlatt why did you have ram horns?"
Schlatt sighed. 'I'll try my best to explain,"
