I was glad this duel was over, and that both sisters came out of it alive. My hand healed from the cut I made, and I was witnessing the two sisters say goodbye to each other. Wave would take Kurome to Helsreach after this, while Akame and I would return to the front.
Akame: You really are incredible Wave, you saved my sister
Wave: Nah, you guys are the incredible ones. Holding steadfast to your convictions and seeing this through
Akame: You have my gratitude, I'll leave my sister in your hands till you get to Helsreach
Wave: Just leave it to me, I'll make sure she gets there safely
Kurome: "Sis!" she called out, reaching for Akame with her hand
Akame walked to Wave, who was still carrying Kurome. She then grabbed Kurome's hand and interlocked her fingers with her own. Seeing them like this, it was nice, and I'm glad these sisters were finally at peace with one another.
Akame: You have great comrades Kurome
Kurome: Sis, even if I could do it all over again, I'd still want to be your little sister
Akame was taken aback by what Kurome said, she was shocked it seemed. But then she closed her eyes, because in truth she felt glad inside. This small heartfelt moment, was something she hasn't had in a long time with her sister.
Akame: Same here Kurome..... I'd happily choose to be your big sister again too
The two sisters then nuzzled against each other. I couldn't help but smile at such an adorable and wholesome moment.

Kurome chuckled before Wave carried her away, I knew they'd make it to Helsreach safely. I stood next to Akame as we both watched Wave eventually leave our sight.
Alexander: Wave is probably one of the greatest guys I've come to know. She'll be safe and happy with him
Akame: "Yeah, he's really something else. Out of almost all the people I've come to know, I can definitely entrust my little sister to him" she said before looking down
Alexander: Akame?
Akame: "Kurome..... Kurome....." she whimpered as she began to sob
