ASHTON:

You heard the drums beat ring throughout the house causing your head to pound even more. You stomp along the hallway and into the room where your boyfriend keeps his drums.

"Ashton! Can you stop?!" You yell as the drums stop.

"I'm practicing babe. Can't be this good naturally." He chuckled while flipping a drum stick.

"Well can you stop? It's irritating!" You snap.

"Wow. What's got your knickers in a twist?" He says warily.

"You have! All you ever do is play that stupid instrument! You haven't even properly hugged me in days!" You yell.

"Oh yeah? The drum isn't stupid! Maybe you're stupid and maybe I don't like you anymore!" He yells back. You flinched at his words and take a step back letting tears fill your eyes. He looked at you and his whole face and posture softened.

"Oh baby. I didn't mean that. I was just angry." He says getting up from the stool and walking towards you. You held your hand out as a motion for him to stay away. He looked hurt.

"Baby." He murmured trying to get closer to you.

"I'm sorry Ashton." You sobbed finally cracking and crumpled to the floor. "I just have a really bad headache and the drums weren't helping and it is just annoying me having a sore head."

"Y/N. If you just told me you had a headache at the start I would have stopped." He mumbled lifting you up into his arms and walking towards the couch.

"But I'll cuddle you now until your better." He said whilst laying down on the couch and resting you on top of him. You curled up in a wee ball while he wrapped his arms around you.

"I love you Ashton." You murmured.

"I love you too baby girl." He said kissing your forehead.

CALUM:

As you walked through the front door you noticed the house was just the way you left it; a mess. You had asked Calum to tidy up a bit today as his parents were coming over for tea.

"Calum Hood! Why is our house still a pig sty?" You hollered through the house. He walked down the stairs and came to give you a kiss. You dodged it.

"What the hell babe?" He questioned.

"I asked you to tidy up today for your parents! And the house is a mess still! They're coming in an hour!" You exclaim angrily.

"But men don't clean." You said like it was the most obvious thing in the world. You rolled your eyes and huffed before walking up yo your room and changing into a pair of jeans and a nice too before checking your make up was okay. You walked back downstairs to see Calum watching T.V. You started to pick everything up. Within half an hour you had the house clean so you went into the kitchen and put the potatoes on to boil and put the lamp chops under the grill.

"Babe. My parents will be here in ten." Calum said coming into the kitchen and went to give you a hug. You shook your head and stepped away from his embrace. He looked at you weirdly but left it when he heard a knock at the door. He opened it.

"Mum! Dad! You're here!" He cheered giving them a hug.

"Hi Mr and Mrs Hood." You said greeting them both with a hug. "Dinner will be ready soon." You all went and sat at the table in the dining room.

"Wow. Your place is very clean!" Joy said. You smiled at her.

"Thank you. I quickly gave it a wee clean when I got home from work today." You said with a strained voice and Calum grimaced at the ordeal that you were ignoring him over.

"You tided and cooked all within an hour?" David questioned. You nodded and gave him a tight lipped smile. Calum looked at you and tried to pick up your hand, you didn't let him.

"I guess I should go finish dinner so I can serve it." You said quietly before heading into the kitchen. You heard Joy say something about helping.

"Y/N? What's happening with you and Cal?" She asked as you were putting the potatoes and meat on the plates.

"Oh nothing, we're just peachy." You said in a monotone while getting the salad out of the fridge and putting some on everyone's plate.

"There's something that's causing tension between you two. What is it? You can tell me, I won't favour towards Calum. He can be an idiot at times." Joy said. You slouched against the counter.

"Oh. It's just I had asked Calum to clean up the house today because it was a pigsty. And I come home to find he did nothing. So in under to hour I had before you guys arrived I had to get ready, clean the house, and cook dinner! And all Calum did was watch T.V." You sigh. Joy came and gave you a hug, which you returned with a tight one. You lay your head against her shoulder and sighed.

"You guys are just going through a bumpy patch at the moment." She said referring to the few disagreements you guys have had in the past month.

"The way he acts sometimes at the moment I'm wondering if it's even worth it anymore." You said pulling out of the hug.

"Honestly, if I was you I wouldn't have been putting up with any of Calum's shit and would be long gone. You guys have something special. But it's your choice if you want to stay with him or not." She told you. You guys heard a gasp and you both turned towards it to see Calum standing at the door with a hurt expression on his face.

"Are you leaving me?" He asked meekly. You shrugged and Joy left the room.

"You can't leave me babe. I love you." He said coming over to you.

"You haven't done anything to show your love in a long time." You murmured.

"I'm so sorry babe. For everything I've done. I'll make it up to you. I promise. Just please don't leave me." He begged. You sighed but wrapped your arms around his waist. He quickly pulled you two into each other quickly.

"Is this me forgiven?" He asked hopefully. You nodded your head. "Am I still getting the silent treatment?" He pouted.

"No. I'm just exhausted. I'm physically and emotionally drained." You said quietly.

"Aw. My baby girl. I'm so sorry. I swear after Mum and Dad leave I'll give you a massage and you can sleep, I'll stay with you the whole time." Calum said. You smiled at him.

"That sounds amazing. But for now can you help me bring out the food?" You asked. He nodded and you sat down with his parents and enjoyed the family time.
