Evlyn had just finished cleaning the kitchen when Jimin walked in to with a bowl and spoon, she gave him a evil glare to which he rolled his eyes

"I'm washing it out right now" he said defensively

"I literally just finished cleaning up"

"I know I forgot this was downstairs. All done" he said, shaking the excess water from the dishes and putting this in the rack to dry. He sighed deeply and pinched the bridge of his nose

"Baby are you alright, you've been in a funky mood lately. Have I done or said something to you? Or something else" She asked fidgeting with her fingers already knowing the answer

"No kitten, you haven't done anything and I'm sorry about my attitude lately. I'm just frustrated with this transition," he explained, leaning against the counter. Both Hoseok and Evlyn knew the current company was putting him through unnecessary obstacles as he tried to depart now that his contract was technically over.

"I knew that was the reason, is there anything I can do to help you relax"

"A stiff drink and a good fuck would help tremendously" he humorlessly chuckled "I'm good baby, thank you" She stepped over to him and pulled him in for a hug, he wrapped his arms around her tightly

"You can use me Daddy, I don't mind" she spoke softly, scratching his neck with her teeth. A deep guttural groan vibrated in his throat

"As badly as I want to, I can't right now. I have to meet with my lawyers in twenty minutes and I'd just be getting started with you" he kissed her cheek and patted her butt. "Maybe tonight, when I get home"

"I'll be waiting" she promised as he loosened his grip on her body.

"Cause you're daddy's good girl" he growled then kissed her lips. Jimin departed from the kitchen to get ready to go to the firm leaving Evlyn alone again.

She was feeling a little needy lately since both of her boyfriends had been busier than normal and didn't really have time to be with her as much as they would have liked to. Hoseok's company was in the middle of a big deal that kept him up late at night and he was going into his office almost everyday for over three weeks. Jimin's exit from his current modeling agency was being challenged so that left him irritated and tired all the time as well.

They tried to sleep in the same bed most nights but more often than not Evlyn was sleeping alone and waking up alone. Hoseok would come in at any hour of the night and crash in a separate room, so he wouldn't disturb them and Jimin was barely sleeping so he was usually already up or gone by the time she woke up. She understood they were busy and normally they did not have a third person to worry about but it didn't stop her from feeling lonely and sometimes forgotten.

Knowing he would probably send her away, she still went to Hoseok's office to try persuading him to ditch work, just for a couple of hours. Evlyn could hear him on the phone from the outside of the door so she knocked softly and waited for him to open it. He gave her a soft but forced smiled and left the door open for her to enter

"Yeah, and it's now a week behind schedule so either you fix the problem by tomorrow or you'll need a new job" he ended the call by slamming his desk phone onto the receiver " Fucking idiots" he snorted. He looked up to meet her scared gaze as if he had forgotten she was in the room with him that fast.

"I-I just wanted to know if you wanted anything specific for dinner. I wanted to make a nice roast"

"That sounds good to me" She nodded and delayed her departure "Was there something else?" As badly as Evlyn wanted to bring up the issue, she knew he was not in a good mood and didn't want to be yelled at or dismissed so she decided against it and left his office to go back downstairs.
