Silver's POV

I was puzzled. Sonic and Shadow had just ran off, leaving Amy and I here to face each other, and I immediately turned on the pink hedgehog.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" I yelled, giving up my kind and gullible nature for once. The idea that someone would dare hurt him like that... it was sick.

"What?!" Amy glared, though she was smiling. I could tell she was happy with the results of her little 'experiment'.

"How could you hurt him like that?" I pointed in the direction that they'd left, fuming. "I'll never understand you, Amy! You say you love Sonic, but then you go and kiss Shadow?"

Amy full of smirked now, completely ignoring my threatening nature. "Who could love that lump of darkness? No, I only kissed Shadow to get to Sonic - and it worked, didn't it? Gosh, Silver!"

"That's sickening!" I cried out, and I truly believed it was. What a terrible way to treat someone you 'loved'. "Why would you even want to do that? Now you've hurt both of them!"

"Huh?" Amy shrugged, turning away. "Sonic'll be fine. This'll just make him finally admit he likes me. Shadow... well, why would Shadow care?"

"Because you know he's sensitive about these things!" I pointed out, and I only told the truth. Shadow was an extremely secluded person, and this kind of thing would only bruise his ego and make him crawl back into his shell. And to think, Sonic's actually managed to get him out of his shell recently.

"I'm going to find them," I glared, even though she wasn't looking at me. "I don't care what you do. Oh, and just for your information? Sonic wasn't upset over you."

As I ran off in the direction they'd left, I knew what I had said was true. Yes, Sonic had been upset, but it was not over Amy. I wasn't sure what it was, but I knew it wasn't that. Besides, if 'Dark' referred to any of us, it was definitely Shadow. But something told me it wasn't that.

This Dark was something else, and somehow he was hurting Sonic. Why, I don't know. But seeing that kiss had only made it worse.

As I ran, I could only think of him. My crush. The look on his face in that moment... it was devastating. What Amy had done to him, I would never forgive, I would never forget. And I had to help him, find him, try to fix his broken heart.

"Don't worry, Shadow..." I uttered under my breath, entering to forest, "...I'm coming for you."
