Hazel's Royal Plight

Chapter 2

"Princess.... Princess are you awake?" asked one of my maids.

"For the millionth time Ruby, it's Hazel. Not princess and nobody is around-" I stopped mid sentence. My father's advisers had entered my sleeping chambers.

"Princess Hazel, could we please talk with you in the other room? We have much to discuss." said Robert the head of my father's Council. He had gray hair cut short, his eyes are blue and they look sad today. Today he wore blue, making his eyes stand out, no matter how sad he looked.

"Yes, at once Sir Robert." I said getting off my bed and joining them in my receiving room.

"Please have a seat." said John. My father's youngest adviser he had brown eyes and matching hair. Today he wore red, he already looked handsome in reds. I placed myself on the couch as the others sat around me. Robert sat next to me, John took the chair and Christopher took the sofa across for us with William.

"This has to do with your 3 wishes" said Robert coming straight point.

"King Leopold has asked everybody in the kingdom to help with your 3 wishes. " says William. William has blond hair that came a little long. His eyes were a light brown with specks of yellow. He always looked kind to me. Today he also wore blue like Robert.

"Here is our plan." said John. My ears perked up at the word plan. They have a way out of this.

"You're going to help me with this. You agree with me,then he has gone mad!" I blurted out fast. A smile came to my face they all noted their heads. "I will do as you wished."

"What did I tell you? I told you she agree to this. She doesn't know the plan and she's already agreeing with us." Said Robert.

"We are going to help you use your 3 wishes to escape this marriage. We just have to figure out how. Your wishes need to be ridiculous, absurd and plain out crazy ." said Christopher. He has bright red hair and the blackest eyes I had ever seen. I always think he is hiding something, but don't know what. Today he was in black.

"How ridiculous does it need to be? Does it need to involve magic? Because if it is involved with magic, we all know magic comes with a price." I said "It's too risky, to use magic."

"But that's just it Princess." said John. I gave him the 'are you kidding look.'

"I know it doesn't make sense but if you listen it will make sense." said Robert calmly. " your father gave you 3 wishes right?"

I nodded.

"You can wish for anything." pointed out William. "Like a way to run away." he said slowly letting it sink in. My eyes grow wide. I suddenly understand what they were saying. I make three wishes and run away. I avoid the marriage all together. I suddenly knew what my three wishes needed to be.

I looked at the advisors and my maid Ruby. They were all nodding their heads. "Three wish one plan of escape. I could go to the next Kingdom."

For the first time Ruby spoke up,"No princess you need to go beyond the next Kingdom."

"Yes she is right. You need to hide from the people. If someone were to find you, you would be brought right back here." said John.

Again I nodded. Then the advisors thanked me for there time and left. Reminding me that we discuss wedding plans. I had to giggle at the thought. I turned to my maid and smiled. "Shall we get started?" I asked.

"I will fetch Emerald and Pearl. We will help you fine tune your wishes." Ruby said. before she made it to the door she stopped,q "They no nothing about the escape plan. They are only to help with your wishes."

I nodded to her as she left. I needed three things to escape this marriage. I looked around my room at my things I could not take any of them with me. I would have to leave them all behind.
