Chapter 17

Kaminari sighed as he walked towards the UA school. It was his first day of his 2nd year...

Many weeks have passed since the incident. Apparently his classmates and his teacher don't even remember that they were in the dream smp. They concluded that Kaminari took the most damage in the brain as he started to say things that don't even exist or did not even exist in the first place. I mean, Gods? Game-like powers that aren't a quirk? Mobs? Those are ridiculous imaginings that will NEVER happen.

He may have stayed in the game-like world for over a month only but he grew attached to them. He also met all the players there. They were all nice, even though some are scary, they can be a bit nice. Heck, they don't even tell him that he is dumb and I quote "your face says that you're uncomfortable when we mentioned it, so we won't". If that is the case then why won't my classmates stop? Ahh no worries. People kept saying "that what friends do", if his friends kept reminding him of what his bullies did to him in the past.. then, he would rather don't have friends like that at all. He didn't talk to anyone that much, except Uraraka.

Ah right! I forgot to mention that once Kaminari told class 1-A about the Dream SMP (cause they don't seem worried about him being gone for some weeks being in the smp), Uraraka told him privately that she remembered.

Flashback-

Kaminari clicked his tongue as he looked at the window, admiring the view. He was sitting on the hospital bed as the doctor recommended him to rest more. He was annoyed and frustrated by what happened. He didn't want to return to this world or.. maybe was it all a dream? He wanted to stay there with his new friends... even though they aren't real... The hospital door suddenly opened. He expected that it was either the doctor or the nurse again, but it was none of them. It was Uraraka. He frowns slightly, thinking that Uraraka also doesn't believe him. "O-oh hey Ocha- I mean... Uraraka-Chan!" Kaminari said with a fake smile. "What brings you here? Oh- no need to check up on me, I am fine!" Kaminari rambles, still having his fake smile.

"It's fine Denki, I remembered, '' Uraraka softly said. Kaminari paused, relief started to flood in him. "Aghhhh... Thank goodness that you also remembered. I was questioning myself if it is indeed all a dream. Our classmates don't remember what happened so..." Kaminari mumbles at the end. Uraraka sat down on the bottom part of the hospital bed. "It is kinda strange as we are the only ones who remembered it. I would say it is probably Dream or Karl but I am not entirely sure. We just... returned here when we closed our eyes when we were stargazing- hold on- how did we even sleep before if there was no bed to sleep on with?!" Uraraka said with confusion. Kaminari laughs as he also starts to question how is that able to happen. "Broo... I just noticed that!" Kaminari said with a chuckle. He then turned serious as he tried to think of the possibilities of what happened to make them come here.

"It could be that we died? But that doesn't make any sense though." Kaminari grew frustrated. "Yeah, it doesn't really make any sense as we don't remember having one of our canon lives taken away. Even if we died, we could spawn back again." Uraraka understood what he meant. Kaminari flopped on the bed. "We shouldn't think much about this. It already happened, we can't change that now" Uraraka said sadly as she started to miss her friends on the Dream smp.

"Welp, no need to ponder on that matter. What should we do?-"

As they have discussed what they should do, they decided on getting the hero license and being a hero that doesn't do it for fame. They met Technoblade and the members of the syndicate once back on the Dream smp. They talk about each other's life and whatnot. Uraraka and Kaminari started to see their perspective and kinda understand why the Dream smp doesn't like to talk about government and stuff. Especially that incident with his classmates and Tommy, Bad and Skeppy. Sheesh rough time to watch that scene. But anyways, sadly they only spent a little time with them (except Niki as Uraraka usually baked sweets with her) as they usually spent time with the Benchtrio.

They soon do workouts and try to enhance their quirks even though they agreed on not relying on it too much (and helping Kaminari to control his, as to not get brain-fried). Their goal was to not be heroes for greed.

But yeah, their classmates were worried about them not hanging around as much as before. They probably thought that it was probably from the incident so they let them be and let them adjust for a bit.

End of flashback: Back to the present-

Someone was shaking Kaminari as he snapped out of his thoughts. "Denki, are you alright? You were spacing out during the entire morning class." Uraraka said worriedly but Kaminari waved her off. "I'm fine. Just thinking and all" Kaminari smiled. The Bakusquad and the Deku Squad are a bit hesitant to whether or not approach them. They seem to be close (Uraraka and Kaminari), they wonder why. They also act differently but the doctor said it could be because of the accident.

Even though they can just approach them and talk to them, they just stay away from them, like what happened a few days ago in the hospital. "Uraraka-san, would you like to have lunch with us?" Iida said with his infamous chopping-hand motion. "Oh! I am also gonna ask if Kaminari would like to hang out with us!" Mina said with a smile. Uraraka awkwardly looks at them as she lightly scratches her cheek. "Uhh.. sorry guys but Kaminari already asked me to have lunch with him" Uraraka said, not making eye contact with them. "Then, you two can eat with us-"

"Oh would you look at the time! 'Chako-chan, let's go before lunch ends!" Kaminari suddenly said as he grabbed Uraraka and dragged her to the cafeteria. "Eh? But lunch just started" Sero mumbled. "What just happened?" Midoriya said blankly, looking at the empty seat where they were before they ran out. "Awww.... Kamibro hardly talks to us now. Wonder why.." Kirishima sadly said. "Tch... they are annoying anyway." Bakugo said, clicking his tongue. "Ohhh!~ They could be dating?!" Mina suddenly said, making everyone who heard it, paused. "OHHHH! Probably! I mean, look how close they are! I bet they were secretly dating until the incident that they were so worried about each other that they didn't bother to hide it!" Hagakure squealed at that. "Hagakure-san, don't spread misinformation until they confirm it by themselves." Iida scolded Hagakure. "See? Even Iida-san agreed!" Hagakure said, ignoring the scolding she received from him. "I agree with Iida, you shouldn't spread rumors about the two. Maybe they are just close friends?" Momo's statement turned into a question. "Hmph! I am the Cupid! You guys wouldn't even see how they would turn out in the future!" Mina pouts as the President and the Vice-president teamed up.
