"You do know sticking a spider in a girls face is not the way to get them to date you, right?" Evangeline questioned Lee, after both Alicia and Angelina left their compartment. She was currently leaning her back against the window, her feet laying across Fred's lap, while Lee and George were sat on the seat across from them. Lee looked up at her, completely dumbfounded, "What on earth are you on about?" He asked the dark-haired girl.
"You fancy one of them, don't you? I'm not completely sure which one it is, seen as they're always together, but I know you do, you get all flustered when you talk to them." Eva explained, smirking at the boy.
Lee blushed, before shaking his head, he scoffed and said, "Please, you wanna talk about flustered, look at lover boy over there." He said, nodding his head at Fred, who was playing with her shoelaces. Fred quickly looked up and glared at Lee, who smirked at him.
"Wait, you like someone? And you didn't tell me!" Evangeline said, hitting him in the arm for the second time that day.
"Ow!" Fred said, holding his arm. "How are you so strong?" Eva just stayed quiet, waiting for an answer. Fred looked to George and Lee for help, who were just pretending they weren't listening.
"I- I don't like anyone, Lee's just being stupid." Fred stuttered out, hoping she'd drop it.
Eva looked at him, confused, "Then what's he talking about?" She asked.
"No clue." He gulped, hoping someone would change the subject. When Eva went to question him again, she was interrupted as the compartment door opened, revealing a bushy haired girl; she appeared to be a first year. "Have any of you seen a toad? A boy named Neville's lost his." The girl asked.
Eva shook her head with a smile, "No, we haven't sorry. We'll keep an eye out though." The first year nodded and left.
"Anyway, have you lot heard about the Gringotts break-in?" Lee asked, finally changing the subject, once they all nodded, he continued, "Most people are saying it's You-Know-Who."
"He's been gone for years, why come back now?" Eva inquired. "Harry Potter's at Hogwarts this year- maybe he's back for revenge." George and Fred, added ominously.
"That's not funny!" Eva glared at them.
"Relax, Angie, we're only joking," Fred said, putting his hands up in defense. Eva glared even more at the nickname; Fred knew she hated the name, which is why he'd always use it to annoy her.
