God just fuck off. Fucking two faced bitch.
I roll my eyes, shoving my phone into my pocket, finishing my coke.
"Thanks Lee. See you next time" I smile, standing up from the barstool.
"It's no problem, Y/n. See ya" She grins widely. I push through the crowd up to the stage where Wil is readying his set for his next song. I pass him, picking up my guitar case slipping it onto one shoulder.
He stops me as I turn around by standing right in front of me, making me halt as to not walk straight into him.
"Hey, where are you going? You okay? You look kinda pissed of" He places a big hand on my shoulder. I stare at the rolled up plaid sleeve of his flannel shirt, before looking back up into his deep, chocolate coloured eyes.
"That's because I am. Don't worry, something just came up. I'll see you later" I beam half-heartedly. His gaze just grows more complex as concern replaces his previous expression.
"When are you going to come back?" He asks, his expression reminding me of an abandoned puppy. I can't help but feel a pang of guilt.
"When I can. My co-worker needs me to finish something by tonight" I explain, adjusting the strap on my shoulder.
"Will I see you?" He asks. I huff, keeping up my smile.
"Probably" I playfully push him aside, spinning around to face him as I slowly step backwards, waiting for his response before I leave.
"I'll wait." He offers a small smile. I smile back, shaking my head before turning back around and heading on my way.

I hop up onto the city train, sitting in a back seat to the left with my guitar. Luckily I'd packed my laptop into the pocket of my guitar case, knowing Mandy's lack of reliability, and that she'd probably dump some work on me at some point anyway.
"Back again hm?" The dude at the counter asks. He looks familiar, but I don't know him. He must recognize me from one of the many times I've come here to work my ass off.
"Mhm" I reply, ordering my things and retreating to my usual seat. I lean my guitar against the wall beside me, and pull out my laptop, opening it onto the table.
Today has been good so far. My staging went well. I didn't make any mistakes. I didn't hear any 'boo'ing. I also met a few nice people. Lee and Wilbur are so nice, and socialble. They're very easy to talk to.
