"They should move the station closer to the bar" I groan, fiddling with the sleeves of my sweater, then reaching up to fix the collar of my shirt underneath.

"I could carry you?" Wil glances at me, and then so does Ash. I laugh.

"I doubt you'd be able to" I giggle.

"Oh really?" He grabs my upper arm, stopping me from walking any further.

"N-no no no, it's okay, don't worry-" I panic but he doesn't listen and before I know it, he's scooped me up into his arms and the ground looks scarily far away.

"N-no, I'm okay, you can put me down now" I mutter, noticing a few people staring at us. I send an alarmed glance at Ash, but he's only smirking as Wil continues to walk along the sidewalk, Ash following. I huff as I watch him over Wil's shoulder.

After a while we make it to the bar. Wil steps up onto the front stoop and I cling close to his shoulder so I don't bump anything. When is this idiot going to put me down?

I can see above every head at this height, I'm starting to think it's not so bad. I glance over to the counter and spot Lee leant over the counter. She looks tired.

I don't blame her, the temperature had risen a deal more than yesterday, but the weather forecast said that it's supposed to rain again tonight, so I'm glad I won't have to try and sleep in this heat.

Wil tightens his grip on me as he swings around a drunk person last second and almost trips over another's foot. My arms tighten around his neck as I begin to laugh breathlessly.

"Shut up" He huffs with a smile.

"Gosh, anyone would think you're already drunk" Ash mumbles with an amused grin.

"Don't be surprised if I end up drunk" I giggle with a shrug as we stop at the counter at which Lee is slumped over.

"Hello!" I tap her head. "Shouldn't you be awake to serve your customers?" I grin as she lazily looks up at me. Her gaze brightens as she recognizes who I am.

"Y/n!" She exclaims as she jumps up. Wil sets me down on the nearest barstool as he leans back against the bar beside me, making conversation with Ash. He seems to be a very quiet person, Ash. He's quite admirable.

It's 3:45 and if I remember correctly, Wil's next show is at 5:10, so we still have over an hour of free time. Why did he bring us back so early?

I look around the crowded bar, the sun shining through the few windows near the top of the walls, some random, quiet music playing through the speakers in the background.

"So. Wil hunted you down, I see?" Lee giggled. I rolled my eyes, grinning.

"It was so random, I was at the café I'm usually at, and all of a sudden he was there! I might have to check myself for trackers later" I joke, making Lee laugh.

"You think I'd put a tracker on you?" Wil grins, joining our conversation.

"Don't give him ideas" Ash warns and we all laugh. Wil turns around to face the counter.

"I forgot to introduce yous. Lee, Ash. Ash, Lee" He points to the respective faces as he mentions them. Lee and Ash shake hands, but the latter seems to be slightly intimated by Lee's wide smile.

"Nice to meet you" He says quietly, somewhat returning the smile.

"You too!" She replies, her demeanor not faltering.

"So what are we going to do while we wait?" I ask. Wil slips off my guitar case and holds it in front of him. He shrugs.

"I dunno. I'll buy you a drink?" He offers. I smile.

"No, no, that's alright, I've got money" I didn't want him to spend any money on me.

"I insist. What do you drink? If you drink at all" He asks. I stay silent, shaking my head.

"What if I buy drinks for everyone? Will you tell me then?" He seems determined for some reason.

"Wilbur. You don't need to spend your money on me" I say seriously, patting his hands that clung to my guitar. In a quick movement, my wrist is encased by one of his massive hands.

"A bottle of any whiskey and four shot glasses please, Lee" He requests, maneuvering his grip on my wrist down to my hand, intertwining our fingers.

I don't think it's normal for someone you barely know to hold your hand this much.

"Are you okay?" I ask quietly so only he can hear. He looks down at me.

"Yeah, why do you ask?" He smiles sweetly.

"You seem to want to hold my hand quite frequently" I stare up at him. He immediately goes red, seeming to not have realized he was holding my hand.

"I-I- fuck, I'm so sorry" He struggles, pulling his hand away from mine as he turns his head away from me rubbing the back of his nervously. I take his hand back, holding it firmly in my small grasp.

"I didn't say there was anything wrong with it. I just wanted to know if you were alright" I smile cheekily. He looks relieved for a second and then he smirks, probably mentally calling me out for not minding his touch.

Lee returns with a large, square bottle, and four small glasses. Ash looks up and shoves his phone into his back pocket. Lee pours out four shots, and then pushes one towards each of us, keeping one for herself. Wil pays as I glare at him. He grins, and squeezes my palm.

"Bottoms up" He smirks. I sigh as I slide my glass towards the middle of the group, clinking my glass with all the others before I throw my head back, tipping all of the contents down my throat.

Wil takes the shot smoothly, as do I, but Ash chokes, and Lee gets caught in a coughing fit.

"You amateurs" I tease, only receiving glares. I let go of Wil's hand to pour out another round of shots. May as well make the most of it, right?

After we finish that round, I start to feel the tingling sensation in the back of neck. The alcohol is sinking in.
