After the doctor left, Anu, Anand and Archana went inside to see Asok. Asok started crying with folded hands when he saw them.

"I haven't done anything. Please don’t hate me dears."

"Appa, don't cry. We are with you."

Anand held his hands and said.

Anu didn't understand anything.

Still, Archana stood like a stone without even crying. Unable to bear her gaze, Asok cried again.

"Oh, I haven't done anything wrong, my dear. Don't misunderstand me. Don't hate me. Don't reject me".

Unexpectedly, Archana slapped Ashok on the cheek.
Then, bursting into tears she fell on his chest.

She asked Asok ;

“Why are you explaining? Don't you know your wife? Asoketta , our son is 26 years now.  ‘If you live, I too will live. If you die, I too will die’. Do you remember when I said this first time to you? Then I was only seventeen, you were nineteen. Still, I am telling you the same thing. Whatever is going to happen in our life further, you shouldn't forget one thing, If, you survive I will survive. If you cannot survive, I too won't survive. Don't ever think about any stupidity. I need you until my death and even after my death. I cannot live without you. Don't hold this pressure and pain by yourself only. Am here to share with you. You can put everything on me. Just calm down. Be my Asokettan.”

They were not a expressive  romantic couple.  But Anand and Anu knew that they are inseparable and was in deep Love. Very rarely they express their love publicly like this.

And Appa hugged three of them. They three hugged him back.

"Oh, they will destroy our family."

Asok said in fear.

"No matter who destroys us, we will not be destroyed, Asoketta. We are always with you."

Archana said.

The four of them hugged each other again.

Asok slept for some time. But even in his sleeping state, he was shouting something. Anand and Archana realized that he was in a state of shock. Anu held on to her father's legs.

After some time, Asok was discharged. Anu still didn't understand anything.

Their car was almost at the courtyard and they saw it. The courtyard was full of people. Police jeeps, media.

Anand, Archana and Anamika didn’t understand anything. But a feeling of weakness spread to Asok.  He shivered with fear.

During this time, Kiran sat on the sofa and remembered what had happened a while ago. Anu had been on his mind for years. He had gotten her WhatsApp number a while ago. Yet, He had not bothered her until recently.
Today, He finally got the courage to meet her in person. He called her from behind and she ran away without even looking back. She didn't even see his face.

When he saw her first time, she was just thirteen. So active in school.  Dance, music, painting, School head girl etc., etc. But she was not eccentric not extrovert, calm and quiet, well behaved.  But with close friends she was too naughty. He was so determined. It is been years he was following her.  She is such a tough character. She would hear all his songs. He knows it. But never talked anything. He thought she had a soft corner to him. 

“But how could she reject me like this? How could she block me like this? She just ran away. Not even once she turned back. So, it is the time. I cannot wait further. Already I waited long. Now it is the time for face to face.:
