when the day was finally over, chanhee insisted on driving sunwoo back home. of course, sunwoo kindly declined the offer way too many times but the older wasn't taking "no" for an answer. even though the younger seemed like he was in a much better mood than he was in earlier during the day, chanhee felt like if he was in such situation and was having a bad day the last thing he'd want was to end up on a packed train back home.

"you really don't need to do this, you know," sunwoo said as he was following chanhee to the university's parking lot, his hands in the pockets of his hoodie. "nothing's gonna happen to me if i take the train. i don't want to be a bother to you."

he was looking around all the cars, trying to guess which one would be chanhee's. but he didn't even look like someone who could drive, let alone own a car. he was starting to wonder how much of a competent driver the pink haired boy was.

"don't talk like that," chanhee frowned, glancing over at sunwoo. "if you were a bother i wouldn't have suggested to drive you home in the first place. and as i've told you before it's no problem especially because we live in the same area. stop trying to be so unapproachable, it's just a small gesture."

they finally ended up in front of a black hyundai kona, looking fresh out of the carwash. it was so clean and well polished that sunwoo could clearly see his reflection in it. he raised an eyebrow at chanhee, letting out a small laugh. "such a big car for such a small you?"

"what's that even supposed to mean?" chanhee hissed jokingly at sunwoo, acting offended by his words. "the car is perfect for me, you just don't understand."

he searched around his pockets for a bit, then checked in his bag until he finally found his keys and unlocked the car, getting inside followed by sunwoo shortly after. chanhee threw his bag and jacket on the backseats and started the car, looking at himself in the rear view mirror and fixing his hair a little while the engine was still warming up.

sunwoo noticed that but he decided not to say anything about it. he just slightly smiled to himself as he fished his phone out of his pocket mainly to check his notifications.

he had plenty of unanswered messages from a few of his friends - mainly hyunjoon and juyeon , asking him where he was or if he was going to come to the next class. he just left them all on read. the day was over and there was no point of saying that he, in fact, wouldn't go to the classes. he also had a few messages from eric but he was going to leave that for later. he didn't want to ruin his mood all over again especially in front of chanhee. he thought that the latter didn't deserve it, considering he wasted his entire day just to hang out with sunwoo.

"you'll have to tell me where i should drive you when we near," chanhee said as he pulled out of the parking spot.

"sure," sunwoo responded with a hum. he put his phone in his bag which was placed on the floor between his legs. he then looked at the road ahead of them, resting his head back on the seat.

he did nothing that day aside of hang out with chanhee and walk around with him yet he felt so tired. he was sure that the moment he went back home he'd be asleep in seconds but he wasn't complaining. for the bigger part of the day he actually had a good time. all thanks to chanhee which is worth mentioning. he ended up liking hanging out with the older more than he would've ever guessed and, surprisingly, he was absolutely not in denial about that.

at one point he was getting so lost in his thoughts that he was slowly zoning out. luckily, he was still alert enough to realize when they were nearing his apartment building so he sat up straight in his seat and briefly explained to chanhee where to go and then where to stop.

"well, fun fact," chanhee mentioned as he reached the place, looking around for a parking spot, "turns out i live only two blocks away from you. figured we live close to each other but didn't guess it would be that close."

sunwoo didn't say anything. he didn't know how to respond nor how to feel about that so he just kept quiet. nothing out of the ordinary. instead he took his bag in hand and moved it up to his lap, pointing at the apartment building he lived in. "you can just stop in front of the entrance, no need to waste time on searching for a spot."

chanhee nodded and did as sunwoo said.

"thank you for driving me here," the younger smiled.

when he was about to open the door and get off the car, his actions were interrupted by chanhee. "sunwoo?" the older said, looking at him straight in the eyes which made sunwoo just a little bit flustered. "i really enjoyed hanging out with you today. would you like to go out somewhere during the weekend or whenever you feel like skipping classes again? i'm really interested in knowing you better."

for a moment sunwoo was taken aback, his eyebrows slightly raised as he wasn't expecting to hear such thing, but the same smile from just a few seconds ago quickly appeared back on his face. "of course."
