Misunderstandings

So in the pervious chapter before I properly explained why I am writing this book/blog, before writing this chapter A friend misunderstood the concept of the book to just a book with random thoughts like why is the sky blue and how does the moon shine at night. so that's why I had to clear it up😂

This there was a simple misunderstanding and caused no problem to either side.

The meaning of the word misunderstanding is simply failure to understand correctly and upon this comes misinterpretation, disagreement and maybe even quarrels.

Nowadays, misunderstandings are not only common but also easily used; let me elaborate

Today, I witnessed two people that I really care about fight, or to be more honest it was simply just a misunderstanding but I was shocked at how it suddenly elaborated to whole huge fight, we all tried to explain how simple it was but it was no use no matter what, and let be clear about something those 2 people are more than close and they care so much for each other. At this moment a random thought came to my mind... why? Why do we fight that much over a small misunderstanding? How does it reach that point in seconds? Why say so many hurtful words that we know that we will regret sooner or later. In fact! After some time from the fight they both tried to solve it again. That's obviously a good thing but let's be honest sometimes the things said in a fight never leave us and we always remember how much they hurt us.

So why? Some of the answers that came to my mind were that we don't listen! We don't give a chance to each other to talk, we don't give a chance to understand, we only want to be understood and sometimes whilst doing that we say so many hurtful words that we don't actually mean and later regret.

I know it is hard to control your thoughts at that time, it's hard to listen, it's hard to care and that's why we find it easier to misunderstand and build up a whole wall to push away any excuses. If you think about it people who are in a misunderstanding are exactly like two people separated by a huge wall, they both really don't want to hurt each other but they do and after they are done they start regretting that they hurt the other that much.

That's why we have to give time and listen, we have to seek to understand than to be understood. We can't push away our loved ones just because of a misunderstanding, the longer and harder we push the longer the distance becomes and the longest distance between people are misunderstandings so let's try to clear those misunderstandings up before it's too late.

Also, Misunderstandings don't always have to be between two people that love each other, could be siblings, parents, friends, a teacher and student or work or a random person you just met. Anything really! It could even between you and yourself that you are misjudging yourself or misunderstanding yourself.

At the end of the day I guess I needed to see those people fight to be able to understand it myself because I also have misunderstanding and I also misunderstand or get misunderstood and to be honest I wouldn't have listened to anyone from outside explain it to me. So maybe after all this was a good thing!

Let's take a moment and think about anyone you've hurt before try to fix it and apologize I am sure they will understand  and if it's the other way round try to listen to them or tell them how much they hurt you then make sure to be able to forgive them because forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.

I am sure next time I'll make sure to think carefully before I take any step especially towards the people I care about. By this I will improve from myself and also make the others around me feel better!

That's it for my thought today! Hope it was any good for you guys

HAVE A GREAT DAY!
