Long Forgotten

Haku and I were running along the tree tops Zabuza had already gone ahead saying he saw the bridge builder. He didn't want us to get involved like most missions. If I saw him in any way close to getting killed imp stepping in. Ryuu was flying next to me. I sigh and turned to Haku, "Are we almost to Zabuza I'm getting quite tired of all this running. Besides all of us have been running on fumes for days trying to find him. "He softly chuckled and smiled his mask not yet on."Yes I believe we are almost there Kiyoshi. Have patients. Do you wish for me to carry you if you are tired?" I blush from under my mask at what he said and nodded stopping on a large tree branch. He stopped as well and bent down so I could get on his back.  My heart started to race from his touch my body warm. He softly sighed hoping he didn't notice as I spoke in his ear. "Thank you Haku. It seems even after these years I don't have the same stamina as you or Zabuza." He chuckled and said it's alright before we continued running. I heard the sounds of fighting and Haku put on his mask. We stopped at another branch as Haku took out two senbon and aimed them for Zabuza's next putting him in a death like state. I smiled glad we got there in time before he was killed. I jumped off of Haku's back and down to Zabuza. Ryuu stayed hidden while Haku talked to the team that was fighting Zabuza. I got up from my spot carrying Zabuza in my arms having a lot of strength. I turned my head to Haku and Stopped in shock not believing what I was seeing. Although he looked older and much more colder now there stood my older brother Sasuke. A few tears came to my eyes and Haku put his hand on my shoulder asking if I was okay. "I...I don't know..... Go take care of his body... I'll catch up to you in a few. "He nodded teleporting away as I walked up to Sasuke. 

When I reached up to him there squad leader held out his arm over Sasuke to prevent me from reaching him. I scoffed and looked up at him. "This is not your business I have no intention to harm him. If I did I would have done that already. So please move your hand so I can give my brother a hug." Several gasps where heard at the mention of brother. He slowly let his hand down his brows furrowed confused. Sasuke scowled at me before grabbing me by the neck. Looking deep in my eyes he said,' "I don't have a sister.... so I suggest whoever you are to leave "His grip tightened on my neck causing me to gasp for air. His sensei put his hand on Sasuke's arm trying to get him to let go. He eventually did and I fell to the ground catching my breath I slowly get up tears coming to my eyes. "Fine if that is the way it is.... then I will go... just don't forget Sasuke... about dear little Kiyoshi. Goodbye." Before anyone could respond I teleported away by Ryuu's side and started to run again tears threatening to spill from my eyes. 

Ryuu looked down at me and softly sighed. "Are you alright princess? It must have been hard seeing Sasuke again. I know how much you miss him." I took of my mask rubbing my eyes and putting it back on. I nodded replying softly, "I am alright... after all he denied he even had a sister in the first place. I don't know why though. Maybe it was for my own safety or perhaps his. I just hope that the next time Zabuza goes after the bridge builder I won't have to join in and fight him. Because I wouldn't be able to." He nods and we both get quiet heading back to the house that we currently reside in. When we reach there I fall on the ground softly panting. I close my eyes my heart racing, "I'm going to have to work on my stamina... It's hard to believe I'm actually a ninja. One day my lack of stamina and skill is going to get me killed. But I'll worry about that later I need to go see if Zabuza is alright and heal him." I shakily get up my legs wobbling but I managed to get inside the house and into his room. I kneel down on his side of the bed after Haku finishes pulling out the needles from his neck. "Zabuza you almost got killed luckily Haku came in to save you. Please don't scare me like that again. I don't know what I would do if you died." My hands glow a soft aqua and I place them over his wounds. "This should make you feel better. That and some rest. Haku would you mind making some tea for him while I finish healing him. I'll have to get some more herbs soon we are almost out." He nods and leaves while I finish healing him. "Your bother puts up a decent fight for a gennin. Almost got himself killed for his guts though. Just like you. Wonder if it's an Uchiha thing." I softly chuckle at what he said and finished healing him. My body was shaky as I got up black spots covered my vision as I fell to the ground. But before I could fall Haku caught me. I blacked out from exhaustion lying limp in his arms

***Couple Days Later****

I groan rubbing my eyes and waking up. I noticed I was tucked in my bed and sighed realizing I must have passed out again. Haku walked in with a cup of tea and placed it on my nightstand. "Yes you did pass out. You lost a lot of chakra and energy. You needed to relax. Tomorrow we are going after the bridge builder again. You need all the strength you could get." I nodded and sat up my muscles sore and grabbed the tea taking a sip of it and smiling. "Wonderful as always Haku. Thank you.... But... I have a weird feeling about tomorrow.... I'm not sure what it is... I feel like something bad is going to happen. Promise me that no matter what happens tomorrow you'll make it out alive. You and Zabuza." He sighed and sat in the edge of my bed kissing my forehead causing me to blush. "I can't promise that and you know it. I'll try my best to stay alive though and I'm sure Zabuza will as well. Why don't you come with me? I have to collect some herbs and I'm sure you could use a good stretch after being asleep for a couple of days." I groaned when he said that putting my almost finished tea down and getting up stretching. "You shouldn't have let me sleep for that long. I'm going to need to do some training when we get back to get in shape. I wouldn't be a hindrance during this fight." I got up grabbing a towel and a set of clothes. "I shall be right back. I am in need of a bath before we leave. I shall be out soon." I headed to the bathroom closing the door and stripping myself of my clothes. I stepped in the shower the warm water washing what dirt I had on my body away. 

After the shower I put fresh bandages on my feet and let my wings out for a moment cleaning them before putting them back. I changed into my Kimono (picture) and strapped my weapons pouch as well as my scroll pouch to my leg my flute able to be summoned from one of the scrolls. I left my mask at home coming out and leaving my hair down. I walked out with Haku carrying a basket for the herbs. We got to a small clearing noticing that the blond haired boy from earlier was passed out on the ground. I frown and go to wake him up. I lightly nudged his side trying to wake him. He groaned rubbing his eyes before frantically sitting up and looking around. "Huh! Where am I? Who are you," He yelled pointing to Haku and I a soft blush on his cheeks. I tilt my head curious at his actions before Haku started to speak with him. I got up not really paying attention to their conversation as I started to pick herbs for Zabuza. My basket was nearly full when I heard Haku spoke, "By the way..... I am a boy." I giggled turning to the two. The blond which I realized was called Naruto had a shocked expression on his face. He pointed towards me and started to speak his voice almost shrieking, "Is she a boy to!!" I tilt my head walking to him my voice a little annoyed. "Do I look like a boy to you?" "No! But neither does he! I'm sorry! Believe it but I have to go," he yelled before running off. I shook my head and sigh taking Hauk's hand as we started to walk back. We both remained silent but I could tell. Both of our minds were racing. Haku didn't wish to kill anyone. Me... I just didn't wish to kill my brother. As for the rest.... If necessary I have no problem.
