episode 1

“August , you got into Royale high’’  screamed May with a letter in her hand . “ Really?’’I asked while she jumped up with excitement . “ Yes , see,’’  she replied , giving me the letter . ''Mom , dad , June , July , August got into Royale high !!’’  screamed may . Mom and June ran upstairs . Mom hugged me after she saw the letter . Dad, who already knew that I would get in, also congratulated me . “ Honey, you worked really hard to get into this school . So it's no surprise that you got in’’  said dad . Mom , well she started calling all her friends and family and boasted about how i got into Royale high . Royale High is a very preppy school which provides the best education in the whole country of Agra . It is also very expensive , but I got a scholarship. mostly the kids of actresses,politicians and agrarian royals study here as they are the only ones who can afford it . “Everybody calm down , let me read the letter .’’

“ MISS AUGUST CAROLINE TANNER , "

We are happy to announce that you are accepted to Royale high . We humbly request you to be present at the academy by 19th of august . The uniform will be provided by the school . You will also be provided with a dorm room which will be provided  under the school's expenses . As you are 18 years old , you will be accepted as a 9th grader .  The school will have a 3 week summer break after every 5 months, that is two times a year . After that , the school will also have a summer vacation that lasts for 3 months . You will have a Christmas vacation that will be 1 week and Thanksgiving that will be 3 days .No  other leave will be permitted unless it's an emergency . Other formalities will be explained to you in person .”

“ I will be leaving on Monday .That is exactly 2 days before the masked ball .’’
“ It will be our last celebration before you leave,’’  said July .
I felt really sad . I have never stayed away from my family for this long . But it concerned my future so I couldn't avoid it . But I wouldn't be seeing my family , and Felix, my best friend . He was with his uncles at gartore , but I only had a few days to spend with him. Felix and Eric, his little brother, were best friends as long as I could remember . I quickly grabbed the telephone from mom, who had been busy bragging about me for the past 2 hours . I dialed his number and called him .
 “ hello , felix gardener here ” 
“ It's me, August ! I got into Royale high !’’ i shrieked 
“ congrats Auggie . So when are you leaving ?”
“ Next Monday . Exactly after ten days”
“what! We only have 10 days ? why can't you ask for more ?”
“ It's mandatory . but I still get to go to the ball .’’
“ Eric will be there too ! He will be there for a year . and it's been 5 years since you met him. He grew up well and handsome . don't you want to meet him ?”
“ Yes I do ! tell him to come early . I am so excited because I didn't even get to hear his voice . He usually writes to me so I forgot him. i really miss him to” 
“ Well I have to get going . i will get their as soon as possible okay”
“yeah bye”
 July was eavesdropping on our conversation but I didn't mind . “ He's coming back huh ?” 
asked July . “ yes with Eric'' . She grew dull . I knew the reason . Felix . ''Hey , I know how you feel about him . He is a nice guy and all but he's a player . As you know  he changes his girlfriend every week . Last week he was dating Molly . but now he's dating Alice . next week it's going to be some other girl . I suggest you don't get involved with him romantically” . “ but I love him . for three years it's been him and only him . I tried to change it . but it only grew stronger than ever . I grew fond of him every time I saw him . I loved his flaws more than his perfection . i wanted to be with him, no matter what the reason was.'' I thought for a second . Was this love ? I didn't know . because I've never loved anybody. it was not that i couldn't . I just didn't have time for it . The only expert in our sister group was May . She had no difficulty in finding a boyfriend . We all were popular . Especially me and July . July and I were completely different . July had brown hair whereas I had blonde hair . her eyes were brown and mine blue . She had a perfect nose with flat rosy lips. My nose was lso perfect , but not as much as hers . I had a cupid bow lip and it was rather red . July had small freckles which made her prettier . She always tied her hair in fish braids and dressed herself in very neat and stylish clothing . We were like best friends . maybe because of our age . We were only 2 years apart while May was 14 and June was 12 . We shared almost everything . May and June are pretty too , in their own way . but we both standard out the most .  July also makes dresses. She's currently working on our ball gowns . July makes  pocket money by selling her dresses to a nearby designer store . and she earns quite a lot . 750 dollars for a dress . She says it's going to be exquisite . I don't know much about fashion . I just wear a shirt with jeans . That's it . My specialty was wisdom .I got really good grades . but that's it . After hours of talking with July I changed into my night robe and jumped into my bed  and fell asleep immediately . The next day nothing special happened . and the next three days didn't matter . On the fifth day , Felix arrived . I hugged him and I saw a young man standing next to him . He was tall , about 5’8 . I myself being very tall had to look way up to see his face . His blonde hair was messy and  he smiled . “ Eric” I screamed as I hugged him .
