" So I'm still the last pick . it's okay . at least he picked me " she said as she smiled weakly . so to change the mood I asked her " are our dresses ready ?" " Yes, it's ready . shall i show you ?'' she asked . she welcomed me into her room . her room was really messy with pieces of fabrics on her table and bed . then i saw 4 mannequins dressed elegantly . for the first time in my life , i wanted to wear a dress. that dresses made me want to try it on . I have never felt this way about a dress . and one dress among the 4 catched my eye . It was a lavender dress with small linings on him . It had drooping shoulders which were made with nets . It was poofy but really pretty . " This is yours, the blue one'' she said . i was so happy that i jumped up and down . " It's so pretty , you are so talented july! I am lucky to have you as my sister .'' " anything for you" she said .Finally the ball day came . We started doing our makeup a little early . July curled her hair a bit and tied it into a neat bun . I just put on a bit of lip gloss and lined my eyes . " I'm ready,'' I said . May , June and July looked at me in shock. ''You are not even near ready," said June . The three of them caught me and seated me forcefully in my vanity . June took her makeup kit and started working her magic . July took care of my hair and tied it into a low messy bun . After an hour I was ready . I looked into the mirror . " Wow," I gasped , looking at myself . I looked really pretty . Then I heard someone ringing the bell . " It must be Felix," said July . she opened the door and it was . " Hello madam , you look pretty . lets go" he said . July took her mask and waved at us . " your masks or kept on the dining room !'' she said . Then she left with Felix . me, june and may went with papa and mama .
we reached the ball . felix and july were already dancing . i could already see her being happy . her eyes shined bright and she was really happy . felix was really gentle with her . then somebody tapped on my shoulder . it was eric . " would you care to dance" he asked . " i would love to, '' I replied . eric held my hands and we started dancing . he was constantly staring at july . then he whispered into my ear . " is he the reason why she said no?" . i nodded and looked at him . he looked heartbroken . " i should go"
