Chapter 32: The Talk

Ashe's Pov:

I heard something in the Bushes, my mom put me behind her and immediately used her magic. Her magic was creating a orb sound, it sounded like it was getting bigger. I quickly told her to lower it down, and she listened to me and her magic disappeared. I walked towards the bush and moved the extra bushes. I saw a fox cub,I immediately squealed and picked it up.

Jade: hold on Ashe, we don't know if it's a trap.

Ashe: this cute little thing? I don't think it's a trap.

Jade: I guess.

She sat down next to me and petted the fox, I'm going to keep him. He's so cute! We walked to the shadow mansion and I held the fox cub in my arms. Charlie and the others literally squealed when we walked in. I'm surprised Charlie likes animals.

Jade: we found him lost and injured.

Grandma Rose: here, I'll make sure he isn't too injured.

I lend Grandma Rose the cub and she took him to the couch and sat down with the fox in her laps. She magically made medical equipment appear and she checked him.

Grandma Rose: great news, he's not injured that badly. He's a perfect pet for you.

Charlotte: I remember when Reina was a fox.

Jade: yes she was raised with foxes, I wonder if this is one of her family members.

Alex: I don't think so, Reina said that her family lives in the Indian area.

Ashe: oh ok.

Addison: what should we name him?

Charlie: Hanako! No wait! Deku! No!!! Bakugo!

Steve: tf-

Natalia: it's from an anime, I believe my hero academia.

Charlie: or Levi!

Addison: simp!!

Kevin: you seriously simp for a fictional character when you clearly have a real live boyfriend?

Addison: I simp for anybody.

Kevin: weirdos.

Charlie: I say Hanako is the best option.

Ashe: yes! I used to watch so many animes and I think that it's perfect.

Charlie: yes!

Steve: Hanako it is.

Grandpa James: tomorrow is the day you leave :(

Jade: aww don't be sad grandpa, everything is going to be fine.

Jaden: y'all are the best grandparents ever!

Grandma Rose: gladly to hear.

Charlie: I had so much fun with you guys! I'm going to miss Deku.

Grandma Rose: aww don't worry child, y'all's horses will still be around for our following years.

Charlie: wait... How exactly how long you're going to live?

Steve: wouldn't you know?

Charlie: no, wait maybe.

Ashe: I had a weird but amazing time with every single one of you.

Jade: and there's more to come.

Jade's POV:

We ate dinner and headed to bed, I sat down on my bed and read through my old diary. Just by reading it, I could understand what my younger self went through. I quickly remembered about Katarina, does she really have an attachment to me? Why do I have that's hers? Maybe ceclion? But what does Alex have to do with all of this? I thought. I looked outside the window and saw the white clear curtains go with the wind, the moon had shone through them creating that beautiful pearlescent shine glittered on the floor. I started transforming into Carmilla, I'm still confused about us staying as vampires. But I guess it already faded. I put my diary in the drawer and got in the covers. I sat on my headboard and looked outside the window. I saw Ashe come in. She was hugging her plushies of us, the ones that grandma had made.

Carmilla: hello Ashe.

Ashe: hey mom, when we get home are we going to spend some money for costumes?

Carmilla: *chuckles* oh Ashe, that's already be planned out.

Ashe: really?

Carmilla: yes, my friend Reina is a fashion designer. I had told her to make our costumes for this year.

Ashe: we're not going to be vampires right? *Giggles* we already are.

Carmilla: no, we're going to be something different. Something less vampire.

Ashe: really? What is it?

Carmilla: *giggles* you'll see when we get home.

Ceclion: did I hear something about costumes?

Carmilla: oh ceclion.

Ashe: dad, mom has something planned for us!

Ceclion: do you now?

Carmilla: yup

Jaden: grandma says that we should get some sleep, we have a big day tomorrow.

Carmilla: ok

Ceclion: remember the dance?

Carmilla: yes, it was so bad.

Ashe: what happened?

Ceclion: well, back before we met you, I was a vampire hunter.

Ashe: but you're a vampire, you can't be both.

Carmilla: that's what I told him.

Ceclion: yeah that's true, but your dad forced me to come and kill her.

Carmilla: we made a promise to not have kids until we're older, but what did he do? He fucked everything up!

Ceclion: language honey

Carmilla: oh my gosh I'm so sorry Ashe.

Ashe: it's ok, I'm a teenager so you don't have to worry about it.

Ceclion: that's true.

Carmilla: I guess it's acceptable.

Ashe: so Natalia is the youngest one.

Ceclion: yes Natalia, was the second daughter to be in the shadows.

Ashe: who was the first?

Ceclion: Diamond Apple.

Ashe: oh.

We chit chatted for a while and we headed off to our rooms. I was thinking about Victoria, I wonder what she's doing right now. Probably gun practice. I drifted off to sleep and then I had dreamed.
