Chapter 4: Getting Ready/Alex?

Jade's POV:

The week of the dance was here, the girls were ready. But they were extra and decided to take more time on their makeup yet again. I was sitting on my bed thinking about that poor girl who owned this dress. And how she had died in this dress.

Addison: LIMO IS HERE!!!!

screamed at the top of her lungs, I flinched a little and  sighed and got up and walked outside to join my friends. I saw everyone all dressed up. Suddenly I realized that the boys weren't there.

Jade: where are the boys?

Charlie: according to Steve, he said that he'll meet us there.

Jade: so they're there at the dance studio?

Charlie: *shrugs*

The boys had no idea what we looked like. We got onto our limo and we were on their way. On the way, the girls chitchatted, while i was starring outside of the window.

Addison: I can't wait to see everyone's costumes!

Hailey: I know right! I'm surprised that they invited everyone.

Charlie: isn't that kinda strange?

Annalise: how so?

Charlie: I mean, I would understand if it was a school dance, but this is a dance for everyone who is in their grown ages.

Addison: so why are you so suspicious about it?

Charlie: idk it's very weird.

Annalise: maybe cause Vampire week is coming up.

Hailey: what's that?

Annalise: it's when Vampire hunters come every day to check for vampires.

Hailey: how do they do that?

Annalise: any human isn't allergic to garlic spray, only Vampires are.

Hailey: gosh that thing stinks.

Annalise: if a human covers their nose that means that they aren't Vampires.

Addison: and if they are?

Annalise: they'll faint.

Charlie: what about demons?

Annalise: well since demons and vampires are cousins, I would say that they'll be looking for them as well. But I'm not too sure.

Hailey looked at me and I was still looking at the window, she scooted next to me and tapped my shoulder which made me flinch.

Jade: ah!

Hailey: sorry jade.

Jade: oh. It's just you.

Hailey: yeah, are you ok? You've been quiet all of a sudden.

Jade: y-yeah I'm fine, I'm just thinking.

Hailey: about what?

Jade: it's nothing personal, I just don't want your night to go bad.

Hailey: same to you.

We had arrived at the studio, it was a huge castle, it looked like a vampire castle. As we arrived inside we saw hundreds and hundreds of people. (Covid finale if you know what I mean) we saw little children dressed up as vampires. We saw the boys at the bar. The girls walked towards them leaving me in the crowd. When everyone started dancing i sat down on a bench. Until i felt someone beside me

Alex: hey Jade!

Jade: oh Alex! Hey.

Alex: wow. I love your dress, it looks magnificent.

Jade: thanks.

Alex: jade I have to tell you something.

I looked at Alex confused until someone spoke on the microphone.

"Attention everyone, as we all know that vampire weekend is here, today I'll be having a few people come up and grab garlic spray and test every one of you. If you are allergic to garlic spray or have a condition with it please raise your hand."

Nobody rose their hand.

"Ok then, I would like, Alex, Steve, Zack, and Daniel. Please come up on stage."

Jade and Charlie: oh crap!

"Everyone line up here starting from girls to boys"

Every lady went first and the boys were also next to the girls.

"Now, the four of you spray the lady area."

Steve: I don't want to do this.

Zack: me either

Steve: Alex, aren't you scared?

Alex: no.

Zack: what-

"Now go on hunters!"

The boys walked down the stage and sprayed every girl, instead the ladies covered their noses, meaning that they're human. They were getting really close to Charlie and Me.

Zack: sorry Annalise.

Annalise: god that smells like Charlies uncle!

Hailey: tell me about it!

Charlie: hey!

Steve and Alex stood by Me and Charlie. They sprayed us and we both fainted. Everyone gasped as they saw us both on the floor.

"Those two are vampires! Quickly spray them more!"

Jade: ugh my head! *Gasps* Charlie!

Steve: she's a demon not a vampire!

Alex: you lied to me didn't you Jade...

I started transforming into my Vampire self, everyone backed away and gasped.

Jade: i-

Jaden: sis!

Jade: brother watch out!

He got sprayed by Alex and he as well transformed into his Vampire self.

"Well well well. The two Vampire siblings, and now they'll suffer from garlic everywhere! Muah hahahaha! Muah ahahaha! Ack voice crack!"

Charlie: damn he's cringy!

Jade: leave us alone! We did no harm!

Jaden: yeah!

Announcer: you're lying! Get them!

Jade: Jaden we need to get out of here!

Jaden: c'mon!

We both transformed into bats and flew away! I saw the girls watch us fly. Jaden took me to the mansion and locked the door.

Jaden: I knew that was a trap!

Jade: it's All my fault..

Jaden: no it wasn't.

Suddenly we heard banging on the door we were trapped, we didn't know where to escape.

End!

Such a beautiful way to end this chapter! Anyway the next one will be basically like a horror movie
