Today was Friday, meaning it had been 4 days since the night Aizawa apologized to you in the grocery store. For the most part everything was back to normal except for the fact that you didn't engage like you used to. Aizawa would never admit it, but he actually enjoyed how you'd ramble on about your life, it was similar to Hizashi. Whether it was plans for the weekend, why you preferred sacramento green over olive green, or articles you found interesting— he'd listen to it all, even if he didn't respond to you he'd still pay attention to every word that left your mouth. You were so animated and colorful, it reminded him of someone he once knew.

But now it was dead silent. Unless it was him giving you instructions or advice, you two barely looked at each other for most of the day. If he wanted to hear you talk he'd have to initiate the conversation and even when he did manage to get a word out of you it was short , bland statements...just like the ones he would give you.

Soon enough noon passed by and the two of you were sitting in the teachers lounge along with Present Mic, enjoying what little time left you had left in your lunch break before you all returned to the classrooms.
