Blade:Trinity

Chapter 04

An elevator door opens. Danica, Asher and Grimwood exit, followed by some lackies of theirs. They walk up to the receptionist desk, Danica flashes a flirty smile as the man points to where they need to go.
They walk up to the interrogation room, Danica opens the door,
"Hi, Blade, Hi, Blaire. So glad to finally meet you", she scoffs lightly,
"I am such a fan".

Danica looks to Blaire with a smirk,
"I like your tattoos. Do they mean anything? Stupid", she muttered.
Blaire slowly looked up her eyes glowing, Danica leaned towards her,
"Pretty eyes. How do they glow like that?", she curiously asked.

Blaire hissed seeing Danica fake concern,
"Are you okay? Are you tired ", she sat on Blades lap leaning to his ear,
"You're weak", she rubbed his chest.
Asher leaned down to Blaire's neck sniffing,
"Damn you smell sweet", he commented.
Blaire's fangs protruded past her lips,
lunging at Asher with a growl just as Blade roared at Danica.

Danica chuckles, enjoying herself. Asher fixes his suit with a laugh.

"We moved the humans around. Like pawns. We used them...to flush y'all out", she motions to Grimwood and Asher. They step forward, Asher gets to work on the cuffs and Grimwood smirked at Blade who looked up at him,
"You're not so big", he said.

Blaire looked at them working on his cuffs, her body still weak.
"You're all alone, lovelies. No one's gonna help you both now", she says looking back at the window.

As soon as Asher pulled a pin from the cuff,
the mirror shatters, a body comes through as the shard fragments spill all over Blade and Blaire.
The body ashes in mid-air as it sails into the room. Seconds later, a man vaults through landing beside Blaire,
"Evening Ladies", the man greeted

"Hannibal King", Danica yelled trying to go after him. King kneels down putting the effervescent inhaler inside his mouth,
"Wake up, Blade. This is your rescue", he said shooting at Asher then at Danica who moved out of the way in time.
The lights had went out but luckily the emergency lights kicked in.

Grimwood slams into King against the wall. Asher fixed his suit with a smirk, walking forward but Blade kicks Asher in the stomach,
"Oh!", he grunted in pain.

Blaire kicked her feet out tripping Asher who fell to the ground. She looked up hearing Blades cuffs break, Danica and Asher hop over the mirror wall, running away.
She smiled seeing Blade stand up, his bones cracking from all the stiffness. He roared out looking to the human who helped but looked to Blaire,
"Help him, first", she breathed out.

Blade pulls Grimwood by the ponytail, yanking him back before spin kicking him through the wall.

"That'll leave a mark", Blaire coughed out weakly.
"Go!", he tells the human who grabbed his pistol and ran out but stopped by Blaire,
"What about...", he couldn't finish since Blade cut him off,
"Go!"

Blaire laughed slightly,
"I love...when your mean", she says as Blade broke her cuffs, pulling her out of the chair.
Her body swayed but Blade kept his arm wrapped around her. Walking up to the table, he leaned her on it, putting on his attire and putting on her zip up jacket. Blaire groaned in pain.  Blade pulled her into him picking her up bridal style, walking out.
"Blade", she looked at him with hooded eyes,
"Blood", she muttered walking through the halls.

A man came out of nowhere, grabbing onto Blaire who jumped out of Blades arms and knees the man in his abdomen before knocking him out with her fist.
She held her throat feeling the thirst, Blade kicked a man that came out grabbing Blaire and pulled her with him.
They continued down the corridor taking out as many people that came after them. Blaire was weak but she kept strong for Blade and herself.

"Whistler!", they turn hearing his name.

"This way!", the younger female says.

Blaire looks at Blade confused and he pulls her with him. They rounded a corner.

"Blade!", they turned to see the big vampire,
"You're dead", he went to charge but Blaire pulls him back,
"Get down", she yelled as they went back in the hallway. They're pinned down between the vampires and the group of policemen.
Blaire leaned against the wall breathing heavily, she pulled her hand from her side, seeing blood. She moved her tank top covering the wound.

"Blade", King tosses a gun and he catches it. Abigail took a knife passing it to Blaire,
"I heard you liked small Blades", she said. Blaire gave a nod, looking at Blade, sweat beads down on her forehead.

Blade shoots at a man, he looks at Blaire them looks to the ceiling. She gave a nod as he jumped up through the vents. Blaire followed after him.

"Hey, hey, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! Where are you going? Where the fuck are they going? This is suppose to be a rescue!", King yelled out.

Blaire followed after Blade and dropped down into the interrogation room,
"I can't believe you forgot your sword", she said walking up to him. She looked down at her ring finger with sadness.

Blade looked at her,
"I'll get another one", he said seeing her smile sadly,
"I loved that ring", she says. Blade pulled her with him as they walked out of the room. She shook her head,
"Damn, I'll need new katanas", she looked at Blade stopping a glass window.

"Awww man", she groaned dashing forward through the glass window, shattering it. The window exploded out, Blade and Blaire dropping three stories, landing before King and Abigail.
Blaire dropped to her knees, holding her side with a gasp. Blade pulled her up grabbing her hand and pulling it from her side, to see blood.

"When?", he asked looking at her.

Blaire sighed,
"During the fight between the cops and vamps", she said leaning on his side, coughing.

Blade looked at Abigail and King,
"Forgot my sword", he retorted but looked hearing loud hip hop music and a horn honking. The car crashes through the cop cars, pulling up beside them, a black man hops out.
"Whoo!", he yelled, "come on".

Blade lifts Blaire in his arms and rushes to the car. They get in the car and it drives off as bullets hit the car. Blaire touched Blades face, weakly smiling, he knew what she needed.
"Abby", they hear looking out to see Grimwood charging at the car. Abigail turns pulling out her bow and arrow and fires at Grimwood and the arrow sinks into his eye. He goes down and the car speeds away.

Safe for the moment, Blade pulls Blaire closer seeing her fangs protrude.
The driver is on the phone,
"We got them. We'll be there soon", he swung hanging up.
Blade turns slightly,
"Who the hell are you people?", he asked.

"Well, my name is Hannibal King. And this little hellion right here is Abigail", King introduced themselves.

Blade looks down at Blaire moving a strand of hair from her face,
"Whistlers daughter", he stated.
Blaire's eyes glowed, he lifted her slightly,
"Take some", he said. Blaire growled latching her fangs into his neck.

King pulled out his gun,
"Woah, woah, hey", he pointed it at Blaire, who opened her eyes. They looked in shock at her amber glowing eyes.
"How's that possible?", he asked.
Blaire bit down harder feeling Blade squeeze her waist. She could feel her wounds healing. She pulled back licking her lips.

"Thank you", she whispered softly.
Blade gave a nod pulling her into him. She moved the jacket aside and lifted her top to see the wound was healed.
Satisfied with what she saw, she closed her eyes.
