Chapter 11

Blaire drowsily opened her eyes after hearing the alarms sound off. She sees Drake grab his sword and rush out. She knew what was happening, she looked down at Zoe shaking her gently,
"Wake up sweetie, it's time", she said as Zoe sat up and crawled under the small table. Blaire inhaled deeply, her eyes glowing, her fangs protruded. She stood up feeling her bones crack. A vampire comes in and rushes at her but she flips him over, grabbing him by the neck,
"Such weaklings", she hissed before latching her fangs into its neck, tearing out a chunk, dropping his body to see him turn ash.

Blaire looked down at Zoe,
"Everything will be okay, I promise. Wait here till Abby or King gets you", she said kneeling down and gently touched Zoe's neck, staring at her fang marks. She stood up and tore off the chains before dashing off.

Blade had taken on a half dozen of them at once as Abigail pauses, punching a man in the solar plexus. She kicks him in the face knocking him unconscious.
Blade walks into the upper atrium, Drake stands before him, waiting, sword in hand. Drake smirks,

"Blade. Ready to die?", his fangs extended.
Blade unsheathes his sword, flexing his shoulders,
"I was born ready motherfucker", he stares Drake down.

Drake was impressed by his choice of words,
"Motherfucker. I like that", he said standing on the table and charged at Blade who got ready as Drake swings his sword down on Blade but a blur knocks Drake down as he grunts in pain.
Blade looked to his right to see Blaire, her eyes glowing amber as she was crouched on the railing,
"Hey handsome", she smiled at Blade,
"Miss me?", he smirked before looking at Drake.

Drake stood up,
"How nice. A little family reunion", he retorted seeing Blade take off his coat. Blaire eyed him with lust as he took a step to the side and fought with their swords. She looked below to see Abigail holding her own but King was no where in sight.
She knew Blade could handle Drake, so she dropped down below on a vampire, twisting his neck, turning to ash. She grabbed a female vamp by the neck, lifting her up and slammed her body on the ground, causing a sickening crack. Blaire smirked shoving her hand through the chest cavity, pulling out the heart and with a satisfying squeeze, the body burned to ash.

"Gross..", she looked behind to see Abigail shiver in disgust. Blaire smirked with a shrug, running off.

Blade managed to cut, thrusts block and slash at Drake who dodged every single one. They were evenly matched. They lock swords, both warriors nose to nose, then Blade twists his sword free as Drake slices through the metal rail. Drake yells in anger and if you looked closet you could see his face morph.

Blaire dropped down below and smirked as Grimwood had the upper hand on King. She shoved her feet into the back of his head. He stood up snarling and swung at her but she dodged, grabbing him by the throat,
"I need him, asshole", she hissed before taking a piece of glass and sliced open his throat before ripping his head off. King was speechless at that very moment.
Blaire offered her hand,
"Let's go playboy. Help Abigail. I need to get to Blade", she said dashing off.

Blaire rushes to the handrail, looking down at Blade and Drake. The view was obscured. She looked to see Asher pointing a gun at Blade, a hand touched her shoulder and looked to see Abigail handing her katanas over. She smirked before throwing one at Asher, it embedded between his rib cage and burned to ash. She cracked her neck seeing another vampire who shot at them, but Abigail shot her arrow and the man screamed out before turning to ash.

"Get a good clear shot of Drake. You only got one chance", Blaire told her as she ran off.
She eyed down below as Blade and Drake fought. She knew Blade was getting the upper hand. She ducked back as gun fire was heard and the bullets almost hit her. She growled and was thankful King managed to knock over the shooter.
Blaire watched as Blade kicked Drake across the building and smirked as he smashed through glass.
He slammed into a metal pillar with a loud growl as his face half morphed. Both men launched at each other, crashing and landed on a walkway and Drake slammed Blade against the rail, which caused Blade to lose his sword down below. Blade turns them and gets the upper hand, kneeing Drake in the abdomen and shoved himself along with Drake through a glass door.
Blade grunted looking up at Drake who took off his vest. He was able to stand but Drake charged at him only for Blaire to shove Blade aside and take the hit. Drake tackled her through the rail and down below as the ground exploded with their weight.
