(So I waited to do the votes, and when I counted, I forgot who won, so I did all of them anyways! Lol)

Thirty-six woke up, breathing heavily and quickly snapping into consciousness.

"...Great."

The room was empty, reinforced metal walls lining every corner and space.

"Luckily for me, I'm not as claustrophobic as Fifty-five." He stepped closer to the wall on instinct, "Now there has to be a weak spot somewhere.."

Thirty-six felt around for a weak spot, wondering where the others went.

"All of it is reinforced.. tightly.."

Octonaughty appeared on a computer monitor in the top left corner of the room.

"Heelllo! What brings you here?"

"You, I'm guessing.." He rolled his eyes, he didn't have time for jokes.

"Cor-r-rect! Give the agent a prize! Oh wait wait! I have another one..Why are you here?"

"Judging by the open door on the other side of the wall, you want me to find a way over there. Also, your face just 'screams' boredom, so you want me to probably complete a series of puzzles or something hard to entertain you somehow. Can we please move on?"

Octonaughty looked at the puzzle master in shock for a minute, "You ARE a mind reader! What number am I thinking of?"

"5,456,897."

He clapped his hands once more, "This is gonna be fun!"

"Not fun for me? I'm guessing?"

"NO! Only fun for me! Sorry!" Octonaughty pressed a button, bringing up a stand in front of Thirty-six.

It was covered in buttons, all ranging from size and color, not ordered at all.

"What's this? A puzzle?"

"Yes! But, its got rules!"

Thirty-six, already calculating the wire pathways in it, responded, "Lay them on me."

"Well, rule one!"

Thirty-six was examining a nearby blue button, "Yes?"

"No thinking!"

As soon as he had said this, Thirty-six had felt a wave of shocks go through him, making him gasp and fall backwards.

"N-no what?"

"No thinking! You can't start thinking about which button to press, none! Zilch! Nada!"

"That's Impossible. I can't even consider which one to press if I can't think!"

"Exactly!"

Thirty-six looked at the machine again, trying to find any way he could-

The shocks increased, halting his thoguhts.

He sighed, laying down on his back.

"...I guess I'm stuck..."

The What-ifer flew through the forest, upset that his friends didn't understand his goal.

"Who wouldn't want to know about alternative dimensions? Or what would happen if dinosaurs went extinct. Or what if we never existed..."

He felt lonelier than he had in the past few millennia.

"If only they'd just-... understand.." He breathed as realization dawned on him.
