Chapter 3

Lucia's pov:

I arrived at 'Bridgington University' and parked my car in the free-spaced parking lot. "hmm, I wonder why is there only a few cars in this parking lot, and WOW almost all of them are Expensive cars" I said while getting out of my car, I looked at the building. and WOW! it was humungous, the entire building looked modern it was made out of thick glass, at least that's what it looked like outside. I walk in front of the big glass door opening it and entered, and was greeted by a 1700's type of design, there was an armor stand that looks like knights, and there were even huge swords and I was also greeted by the receptionist.

"Well hello, how may I help you?" the receptionist asked me.

"Uhm, hi I'm new here I was wondering if I could get my schedule and dorm room and dorm keys here, or... I'm at the wrong place?" I said nervously scratching the back of my neck, I mean how can I not be nervous it's my first day at this HUGE and prestigious school after all.

"Oh, no you're in the right place I'm the receptionist, uh can I just get your name and identification please." the receptionist told me.

"Ah! yeah, hold on," I say while rummaging through my backpack. "Uh, here," I say while giving my card. "my name is 'Lucia Noceda'" I say with an excited voice. The receptionist looks up at me and asks.

"Wait THE 'Lucia Noceda' the famous fencer?" she asks me, oh shit I think I know what's about to happen...

"uh, yep heh, that me," I say putting on a weird uncomfortable smile.

"OMG!!! I'M A HUGE FAN!!! can I take a picture with you?" she said to me, of course, I didn't want to be rude and mean and say 'no' so I just said.

"sure, anything for a fan," I said with an uncomfortable voice, the girl walked up to me and took a picture then I said, "so... Uhm, can I get my stuff now I'm kinda going to be late."

"OH! yes, of course, of course, I'm so sorry," The receptionist said. ah fuck! I'm gonna be late but I also wanna seem nice to these people.

"oh, no It's no problem really, always happy to take a picture with a fan," I said with a discouraging voice.

"So, here's you're keys to you're dorm and your dorm number and you're schedule, also just a heads up you have a roommate staying with you since we still have some of the dorms being renovated, but of course if you want I can call the principle and transfer you to a different room if you like." The receptionist said while giving me the stuff that I needed.

"oh, no, It's fine I can have a roommate don't worry about it, and thank you for helping me out, now if you'll excuse me I have to go, bye." I waved at her bye and she does the same, man that took longer than I expected. I walked over to the elevator and pressed the up button the silver elevator doors open and I entered, checking the buttons inside on what to press I saw the button to my dorm, I checked my watch to see. "It's 9:56!" I said to myself quietly but screaming internally. fuck. I'm gonna be late, I quickly pressed the button that goes to my first class after the elevator doors open I ran out of the elevators and looked for my math class. "where, where, where..." 

*bam* 

"OW!" the person whom I bumped into said. I looked up and stared at who I bumped into, it was a white pail girl with pink and brown hair wearing a crop top that said 'HEX' on it and she wore a pink skirt. honestly, I was shell-shocked when I saw her, she... was GORGEOUS.

"WHAT THE HELL?!" she shouted at me.

"Oh, shoot I'm so sorry I wa-" she cut me off saying.

"I don't care what you're reasoning is, just back off and don't bump into me again. got that," she said with an angry and yet demanding voice, honestly I thought she looked cute getting mad at me. I nodded my head to say yes and she continues on saying while walking away from me.

"Good thing I let you off easy, you don't know who the hell you just bumped into," she said glaring at me with a maniacal voice. she was right I didn't know who the hell she was or why she said that to me so... maniacally I brushed myself off and started to look for my class again I checked my watch to see that I was already five minutes late I started to look faster and finally found the classroom.

*knock knock*

"yes. how may I help you?" the teacher says while turning around looking at Lucia.

"oh, Uhm, Is this math?" I asked with a worried tone of voice.

"yes. and you just Interrupted my lesson, what do you need?" the teacher asks in a mad voice.

"oh, this is my first class then," I said walking in.

"And why are you late?" the teacher asked me. Fuck. you have got to be kidding me, the first day and I get scolded.

"oh, Uhm, I-" I said before getting cut off by the teacher.

"ah, I think I've heard enough. what's your name so I can write you LATE" he tells me with a voice of annoyance.

"Uhm, 'Lucia Noceda'" I say. then Everyone in class and I mean EVERYONE turned around and then looked at me.

"Noceda? as in the world fencing Champion?" the teacher said with a nervous voice. when he asked me that I knew. what. the. hell was up.

"Uh, y-yes," I said nervously. I don't know if should be Flaterd that they know me and I was about to be praised or If I wanted to be treated like a normal student and treated like Everyone else in this situation. but I mean at least I won't get in trouble hopefully.

"oh, dear. come in come in" the teacher said with enthusiasm bringing me in front of the class and then introducing me. "CLASS! this is Lucia our new student and also the world Fencing Champion!" the teacher shouted Excitedly. "Please, Lucia Introduce yourself to the class." he said, joy still coming from his voice.

"Uh, hi, I'm Lucia 'Lucia Noceda' and-" I said before getting cut off by the teacher.

"And THE WORLD FENCING CHAMPION!!!" he shouted. okay, I like his enthusiasm here but he's doing too much.

"Uh, yeah... that too." I said with a some what sad voice for some reason. I don't know why I was sad at that moment i mean i was literally being cheered out and I was... upset? Maybe because I was being cheered on for my success and fame, And not... for who I am.
