Chapter 9

3rd Person pov:

Lucia, had just finished getting her cuts and bruises cleaned, and also finished flirting with the nurse. She headed to her dorm room in which she has to see Amelia again, while heading there she got a call from her mom.

"Hey mamì, what's up?" She asked while pressing a button in the elevator.

"Mija, I need you too pick up luz tomorrow." Her mom said on the phone.

"Sure, but can't Eda just do it?" Lucia asked. Eda was a family friend, Lucia's mom helped Eda in high-school to start her own business, and has been close to the Noceda's ever since. (And is also Rain Whispers ex, just too add.)

"I tried but she's too busy tomorrow, her sister is visiting her and you know how she is with that." Camila Explained.

"Oh, okay then I'll pick luz up by 4:00 after my classes since I don't have any fencing practice tomorrow." Lucia said leaving the elevator.

"Gracias Cariño, wait, why don't you have practice tomorrow?" Camila asked in curiosity. Lucia stopped in her tracks and just said.

"Uh, No reason, they just said that there's no practice tomorrow." Lucia said nervously.

"Oh, ok then, I'll talk to you later mija, bye." Camila said. Lucia said 'bye' back and hung up the phone, she sighed in relief that her mom believed her lie and opened the door. When she opened it she was surprise that the light and everything was off and no one was there. Lucia heard someone shouting in Amelia's room and got Curious, Lucia put her ear against Amelia's door and proceeded to eavesdrop on her. It sounded like she was on the phone with someone, she was shouting but Lucia coudn't make out a word of what she was shouting about, she leaned more on to the door and she heard Amelia say.

"Fine, I'll pick you up... Don't ask what time I'll pick you up." She said. Lucia was a bit confused, but then the door knob moved and Lucia moved away from the door and acted like she just got there.

"What are you doing?" Amelia asked.

"Nothing, I just got here and was about to order pizza." Lucia said with a nervous voice.

"I know you were eavesdropping, don't lie. Also I was just talking to my sister, so don't bother asking me what we were talking about." Amelia said while walking to the kitchen to grab a glass of water. "Also be glad that my parents didin't found out or that I told them about our little 'fight' because if they did, you wouldn't be here right now." She said glaring at Lucia before heading into her room. Lucia didin't say anything since she knew Amelia was right. Her parents were very strict and powerful and could do anything to her. Lucia went to bed and thought to do something good for the blight, for once. So she planned to make them both her famous breakfast burritos tomorrow morning as an apology.

Amelia woke up to the smell of something burning and loud beeping, she quickly realized what was happening and jumped out of bed and ran into the kitchen where she saw Lucia trying to put out the small fire in the pan. Amelia quickly ran up to her and pushed her aside lowering the heat.

"What the hell are you trying to do burn down the entire building?!" Amelia shouted. Lucia just laughed nervously and said.

"Yeah, sorry, my bad. I didn't know that the heat was that high." Lucia said rubbing the back of her neck.

"Why are you even cooking?" Amelia asked.

"I'm just making us some breakfast burrito's as an 'apology' for yesterday." Lucia said going back to cooking.

"Pfft, you know how to cook?" Amelia said laughing at Lucia.

"Rude, but yes, I do know how to cook." Lucia said giving a glare to Blight.

"Sorry, just, you don't look like you know how to cook, also are you like trying to poison me or something?" Amelia asked.

"Sadly, no I didin't have time. Also, I make one of the best Breakfast burritos." Lucia said putting her hands on her hips. "And, I bet you this is probably going to be one of the best burritos you've ever tasted." She brags. Amelia just rolled her eyes and sat down and looked at her phone. No clue why she has her phone on her when she got out of bed and rushed into the kitchen thinking their was a fire.

After a few minutes later lucia had finished making the burritos and set it out on plates and put them on the table.

"Trust me. This will be the best thing you've ever tasted." Lucia said giving the plate with the burrito to Amelia.

"Yeah right." Amelia said rolling her eyes. Amelia took a bite, then a few seconds later her eyes widen at the taste of the food that 'Noceda' made for her, her taste buds were exploding with flavor. Then Lucia asked.

"So... how is it?" Amelia Not wanting to praise her for her delicious food and make Lucia brag about it she just said.

"Yeah, I-It's good."

"That's it? Good?!" Lucia said putting her food down and looking at the blight.

"Yeah, I mean, It's not the best thing I've ever eaten but it's still pretty good." Amelia said not wanting to let Lucia know she LOVED it.

"Psh, you have no good taste buds blight my breakfast burritos are THE BEST." She bragged. Amelia just gave her another eye roll and continued eating. Once they were done Amelia said 'thank you' and said she could do the dishes, Lucia was a little surprised and said.

"Really? You sure your not going soft on me, Blight?" She teased her. Amelia just said.

"No, I'm just doing this because you made me Breakfast, and this is my way of saying sorry to you to for yesterday." Amelia said while washing the dishes.

"Alright then I'll just go take a shower, bye, Blight." Lucia says before winking at Amelia. Amelia blushed a bit when she winked at her. Amelia and Lucia's mind just filled up with them hanging out that entire day and they didin't know why.
